This is an excellent Choice of Game book/game. I would recommend you to play it to become the supervillain of your dream, after many stories about superhero, playing the other side is a breathe of fresh air and it is fully developed. However, the end leaves you wanting for more as I was not expecting an "Harry Potter" ending. Hope their is a sequel and that it is just as good as this one.
It tries to be self-aware and genre deconstructive, but mostly it accomplishes being not funny.
“Grand Academy for Future Villains” has a fun premise: you’re a student at a school for aspiring villains and you can choose whether to embrace that or play a more reluctant troublemaker. The humor is light and chaotic, and the setting has its charm. That said, the game is more railroaded than many Choice of Games titles. Some choices don’t feel like they matter, and it’s often hard to predict which stat a decision will test, leading to unexpected failures. The characters also didn’t leave much of an impression on me; their personalities never really deepen beyond their initial gimmicks, which made it harder to get invested. Romance exists, but as I edit this years later, all I remember is that they were minimal and not especially memorable. Despite the uneven execution, I still enjoyed the playthrough overall. If you like stat-heavy comedy with a deliberately over-the-top tone, it’s worth a look. Just don’t expect strong agency or standout character work. (6/10)

The setting and concept here is quite good. Interesting idea, I sincerely like it a lot. The story that the author decided to tell within that setting is the weakest point of the whole thing. With a lot of CoG titles, even if I can't remember the names of characters a week or so later, I can remember their vibe and what I liked or didn't like about them. With this one, I couldn't remember anything about any of the characters the very next day. They're that forgettable.
Your choice don't count. Your choice are twisted and this story doesn't go anywhere. Its bad
Its a great game if you like book and gaming. I have nothing to add just wanted to say thanks for making the game.
nah, confusin af
This story was decent, and I liked it. I did feel that it was short, and I feel that a few choices were cut prematurely. I feel that story had a LOT more potential than what was used. I hope that there will be a follow-up, and that more will be done with it. Overall, I'm going to give this a 7/10.
The game was very disengaging. No coherent stories or connections especially with the characters. It was an awesome concept but was poorlyy executed this time around (we;;, for me it was. You may see differently but I am a huge fan of rpg and story rich games...this did not feel like it)
Like many Choice of Games titles, sometimes your choices don't really matter, but often they do, and through a relatively well written and meta story this game is thoroughly enjoyable even when it occasionally does nonsensical things. Don't expect every single choice to have it's own unique tree but expect it to at the very least be acknowledged and that's all you can really ask for in this cheap bit of fun. Stop yourself from being disappointed by remembering that it's called Grand Academy, so don't expect it to extend beyond that point.
