Governor of Poker 2 - Premium Edition

This game sucks. My rating 3/10, not recommended.

been playing every day for about a week now.... game is very good. Good poker, good presentation, a little archaic, but , in a way contains a level of quality that you dont see any more in new releases. Like, someone actually cared about making this. A concern with video poker is always, how real is it, or is it rigged for a false difficulty. I don't feel like this game is cheating hands in order to manufacture a difficulty. I might be getting easier cards in these early levels; i do seem to get an Ace high pretty often, but I havent played enough poker to really know. My guess is it's pretty straight. the voices and animation are good (could be better). The progression is good, win tourneys and unlock new towns, buy up the properties for a small daily income, etc. There are even cosmetic hats to buy (with in-game funds of course). everything is good, but you wish everything was just a little bit better, bc then the game would easily be thrust into Great. All in all... pretty damn nice. Chill and great to play. one warning, some have had black screen and cant get game to load. I might have had that problem once, but it was so long ago idk. Anyway it runs just fine for me now

Gioco carino come passatempo, simpatiche le voci degli altri giocatori al tavolo. Più riuscite a vincere ai tavoli maggiori saranno le possibilità di far sì che le varie città del Texas diventino di vostra proprietà e di ricevere sfide dai giocatori più famosi. Alcune cose sono ripetitive, ma nel complesso mi sentirei di consigliare questo gioco.

The AI is cheating in this game... hard. It becomes incredibly visible when there are only two players left on the table. Every 3-4 rounds the AI has twins in hand and usually gets at least a triplet with the table. You on the other hand usually get sh*t cards. Far apart from each other and the poor table cards don't make it any better. Oh and they get surprisingly lucky during turn and river... If you want to win that game, learn how the AI works and play around that... learning how the game works is not really necessary.

By default, the game displayed in a small box that took up only about 1/6th of the screen, and I could barely read anything. I'm not changing my monitor resolution for just one game.

It is an ok poker game, however you can cheese it like crazy by just going all in every round, at least at the beginning. Works fine on Linux with Proton (Proton 5.0-7).
