A delightfully short action-adventure that makes me wish I'd played it on a retro handheld with a Game Boy Advance or SP form factor; not because the experience on a PC with keyboard or a controller was in any way negative! No, the scope and feel of Gordy and the Monster Moon just transports you into that head-space where you're in some waiting room, figuring out simple-yet-esoteric puzzles on a handheld while keeping an eye on the adults to see if you'll have to pause the game soon. This is the perfect little Halloween diversion for your Steam Deck that respects your time/intelligence and won't eat much battery life!
cute lil game
simple exploration game.
Short and sweet, with fun mechanics that reveal themselves to you naturally during play. I love how minimal the game was but still had a bit of depth to chew on. Recommended for a short romp.
Short, fun game with a cute lil frog and his dad
Excellent! Short and sweet, but well worth the experience if you like exploration-based puzzles.
very cute, short and sweet game with pretty deep mechanics, just wish the ending was more climactic. nice music, too.
Short but sweet, I loved it~!
Neat little game, always love those little NES zelda-esque games
It's fun! There's a few points where it's like "uh, I have absolutely no idea what you expect of me", and sometimes it makes sense and sometimes you just sorta hope to stumble into whatever you're meant to find next. Never did find the "jungle ruins in the southeast" but hey! Still had a bunch of fun hopping around as a pumpkin guy. EDIT: Came back after thinking about it and found the area and finally rolled credits. Yep. Fun game!
