Might as well rewrite my review for this...! Goonya Monster is definitely, for the genre, a dead game. It's exceedingly rare that you'll ever find yourself in a lobby with another human Buster, much less another human Monster. Since the CPU ranges from fairly competent to abysmally bad, it's a little hard to actually get good at the game now. Not that it matters, since no one's ever on. There are some other complaints that others have regarding this game that I tend to agree with as well. For example, the English dub was questionably handled (JP dub is a lot better quality-wise), and the game feels a little... hard to get into at first, if that makes sense. Despite everything... I genuinely love this game. Sure, there are a lot of issues, but there's a certain charm that the game has. Something about it keeps drawing me back to play each month for at least a few hours. It's repetitive, as my friend lamented to me, but I really don't mind that. And to be honest? I really, really enjoyed the story. Hell, at one point I started grinding episode matches for hours on end just so I could read more of it. It's a shame that most people probably wouldn't be willing to put up with the game long enough to see the whole thing themselves. Goonya Monster is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, so to speak, but I am definitely glad I gave it a try myself. The game goes on sale somewhat often, I bought the game for one Canadian dollar myself. If fighting with and against the AI doesn't bother you, I highly suggest at least giving this game a try if it is on sale. ...Obligatory "Came for Fake Type, stayed for Anemone" comment.

I love this goofy little game, the physics are fun and the art style is so cute. I hate goonyan he's annoying I hate how he says nyamo, and the dub is low quality so I recommend switching the audio to Japanese. I like how it's decently balanced, I just wish I could play with my friends as a monster. A solution I recommend is maybe having a game-mode where you can play online with friends as a monster, but make it so this game-mode provides 0 points of any kind to prevent XP farming.

人とやらないとはっきりいってクソゲー 人口民度がかなり少ないＤＢＤって感じ ストーリーはそこそこ、ニンテンドーとかであるようなストーリ ゲーム自体は戦略をしっかり固めれば人間陣営もモンスター陣営も勝てるが基本モンスターが有利ゲーム

Mojidōri, warai ga takusan aru nekkyō-tekina animegēmupurei!! (Literally Frantic Anime Gameplay With Lots Of Laugh!!) It's actually quite fun! and the fact that empty lobbies get filled with bots is a nice addition! Daily rewards, battle pass, lots and LOTS of customization! (That's a big win for me!!) and knowing you can play it all with or without friends is that much better! you can also do local online matches with you and a friend! (Need a controller and for them to be sitting next to you buaha) And can even host private matches! (Although you don't get any XP and only a small amount of cash if played long enough) What I recommend doing is have 3 other friends play with you in episode matches this way its the same idea as private matches but your all actually getting rewarded properly! Overall it's a good game and I do recommend it! Asobi ni kite kudasai! Gakkari suru koto wa arimasen! (Come And Play! You Won't Be Disapointed!)
