the game is autistic, but it doesnt respect my autistc saw this on sale for a dollar and figured with its obvious splatoon inpiration and it being a multiplayer game that likely on a deep discount to add a boost to the player base could use some supprt. i love indiesm esp ambitious ones. it immeidatly seemed cute and endearing a goof ball anime sorta way, but what i experienced once the novelty of bold animation and characters yelling all of their lines gave way to the relization that at least the english dub is poorly localized and either not well acted or not well voice directed. during the first cut scene i was begging for the bad line reads to end halfway so i could get to some maybe good gameplay...and when i got to the gameplay there was so much noise ;visual and audio, that made it very hard to play. im sure not everyone will have my experrience but as some with sensory sensitivities it was like an assualt on the senses...but that seems less a product of the game just being what it is and the game exucuting some things so poorly it makes it less accessible in the process. the music for example seems good but its so poorly mixed with the sfx audio that it becomes grating very easily, and that sound salad only gets more grating as in the tutorial with tutorial cat flatly repeating FIND THE UNDEAD, monotone on repeat,....what im saying is , this game makes perhaps the worst first impression i've ever seen. i havent even talked about how stiff and low effort feeling the actual player models look. i was starled by the animation shange from the cutscenes to the game itself...it was like night and day. it plays stiffly and fells like the game is contatnly yelling to keep my attention. i didnt even realize how much a game like splatoon respects my attention span? hell even friends vs friends is a better time than this..... maybe there is something here to love that i havent given the game the time to show me. and i recognize that will be the case for others. i lemment that fact actually. we've done so very few reviews on this website and it pains me to write such a glowingly negative review, AND ON CHRISTMAS NO LESS , i feel like i feel ion my gamer sword, i feel like i failed this game....but really, this game failed me however...i do love cats
