Really enjoyed the story. It was like a short Kirby game but with hockey. The dialogue was well thought out and even pretty funny at times. The hockey is not bad but, is it great? No. It has pvp and that increases the quality significantly. Have not convinced any friends to play yet but sure it would be fun. PSA Goon was a hockey term long before the degenerates got a hold of it.
Un petit review un peu tardif mais tout de même. Goons: Legends & Mayhem, c'est le petit jeu de hockey style arcade auquel tu reviens toujours jouer de temps à autre. Plusieurs bon challenges en solo, une section multijoueur que j'ai pas trop exploré mais qui s'essouffle avec la player-base réduite (le jeu est sorti depuis la mi-avril 2024). Somme toute, un bon jeu qui vaut son prix, fait par un studio local. Quoi demander de plus ?

We Dont Have Many Hockey Games On PC To Be Thankful For. This Is One Of Few That Is Quite Solid. A Little Simplistic Which Is Why I Think A Pinch Lower Price Point Would Be Nice But Given The Rarity Of Such Good Hockey Games On PC They Could Very Well Charge More If They Pleased.
Crashes when I spawn a puck so I cannot complete the tutorial.... Refund please.

Tried the new patch and game works like a charm. Enjoying the game as intended and thankful for the devs for generously reaching out to help! [h3] Original Review [/h3] Careful about your computer's specs going into the game. Checked the boxes on required specs (NVIDIA 960M, DirectX 12, 8 GB storage space) and expected, albeit maaaybe some frame issues, that the game would run smoothly. Both attempts to run the game, my game fully crashed when *spawning a puck in the tutorial level* There is an additional note on the store page about having a quad-processor build causing *certain* crash-related issues, but I heeded that as performance related. Stability, the game ran fine up till these inputs. Never would I have anticipated a core mechanic fundamental to even learning the game to not be optimized to run on a computer that has, frankly, never encountered this issue anywhere else.
