Made in China vibes, the umpteenth iteration of upgrade = downgrade mechanics with incremental aggressively generic cookie-cutter balance that screams merciless copycat while the ads go "choose wisely" and push you to beat "your" high-score. It used to be so that they did one of those shady gimmicks as an excuse for a side gameplay cycle, but taken together and made core and the only gameloop it's a cautionary tale about what's wrong with the polito-digital industry. On the upside if you're rolling with its abrasive flippant humor, happen to like the music and effects, cackle with glee at the card descriptions and are mesmerized by the little hub, you'll find a game that sticks to its shtick with little in the way of surprise.
This game is seriously fun. The mechanics feel smooth and the artwork is clean and fitting for the environment. The character reflection on the door is such a nice touch and made me laugh. Great game, keep up the good work!

fun game! Rogue light asteroid shooter? i'll take it! nice work!

没中文,看不懂,每次都活不长,他那个陨石会被打成碎片,枪射久了还直接进入冷却期,不能发射,啥也做不了。 可能有buff会解决那个问题吧,但是乱选选不准了。

It wasn't clear where to go when I first started up the game. There's no way to change sensitivity. The upgrades occur too often and they all feel too similar. A wider variety of upgrades that allow me to go down diffferent build paths would have made the game fun. On a positive note, it did feel good to shoot rocks, and the music is great. I actually want the soundtrack.
Fun little arcade game with good background music and an effective artistic direction (I like being a blob).
Other than having to think about what kind of build you want (As of now I only think of two kinds mainly : high firerate with low heating and quick cooling of your cannons ; low firerate but high damage per bullet and accuracy driven if you want), I like the idea of balancing your build (reducing you damage this time but maybe have a higher power up for it later while you upgrade something else, etc.). So it's not just about adding more and more power, but actually keeping balance in order to be as effective as possible, as the game becomes harder and harder. However, it is really repetitive in its current state. Maybe adding some passive powerups or other things to diversify the gameplay. Or maybe it is intentional to not add those mechanics, I don't know. In terms of gameplay loop, it feels a little slow to go back to the main menu each time we die, it should be faster (you die, you click, instant respawn in the ship). As for controls It's almost exclusively the mouse (excluding the moment you're in the ship to get to the canon or visit), even though QWERTY only is clunky for AZERTY keyboard.
Hard to complain when it's free. Definitely worth a download.
