"Golgotha" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is your usual Unity first person horror adventure jumpscare kitbash, this one leaked from Itch onto Steam somehow. It's badly made, a collection of frequently flipped Unity assets, but no price tag, which makes us wonder what the point is. It's like going shoplifting and just throwing out all the stuff you stole. The quality is particularly bad even for an asset flip, with bugs, jankiness, and bad misuse of stock assets and the first person horror adventure game blueprint they were dropped onto haphazardly. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Golgotha". Here's another case where Itch failed. They have like, ONE job... to act as containment to prevent poorly made amateur shovelware from leaking out onto platforms where gamers might see them and lose hope in the gaming industry. But here we are. The participation trophies and hi-5's from the group hug weren't enough and some of the amateur drivel they're supposed to protect us from got out. The game is quite short, and can be run through in just 30 minutes. The lack of content here makes it hard to suggest it's worth spending the time to add to your library and download. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher-quality alternatives on Steam.

its disturbing, i can feel the dark. The game really capture the feeling of horror, even without much jumpscare, it still scarry. This was a worthy game. Looking forward for you next game.
This is actually a great little freebie game. I'm eager to see what this developer does next! Great use of music and sound to get that super creepy atmosphere.
☺
It's very nice & spooky! There's no puzzles or danger, but the atmosphere is so good it had me creeped out. The whole game is only around 20 minutes but it's a really nice little spooky time & it's free so I'd recommend it!
A lot of passion in this little horror snippet. Short, but very effective. Great experience!
Oruspu cocugu ruyasında nasıl fantezili bir rüya gördüyse oyun yapayım demiş yapmış oruspu alanında oynayanında amına koyayım sevgilerle
It’s a very good game and the atmosphere is really well done. It pulls you in and makes you feel genuine discomfort. The only negative thing I can mention is that the sound of your footsteps is much louder compared to everything else, and it becomes a bit exhausting after a while. Other than that, it’s a very good game.
