Golden Tee Arcade Classics

It's a simple set up but the game play is nicely implemented with mouse controls. The price is pretty high and for a Digital Eclipse compilation it's really bare bones. Get it when it's on sale.

Great game. I have a 2 year old and a 4 year old that love bowing! I set this up with the tank stick. To do so is easy. I have the slider switch on the second setting from the left when looking over the tank stick from the playing side. From there you need to go into the settings while in your selected game and controls all the way over to track ball. Should only have to do this once for each game title / player and you are good to go!

[h1]Great Steam Controller and Steam Deck game[/h1] Golden Tee hardly needs any introduction. If you were ever inside a bar, pool hall, or arcade in the late '90s through mid '00s, you saw some of these classic machines in action. Dedicated Golden Tee players will buy trackballs to play this game, but for everyone else, the touchpad on the Steam Controller and Steam Deck provide a great way to play the game with input more closely approximating the trackball experience than you'd get using a thumbstick or the virtual trackball. Be sure to set the input mode to Trackball in the settings.

Classic!!!!!!

The control port is completely nonsensical, frustrating, and just not fun. Bought this for some old school nostalgia and fun with my wife from our old bar battles. Refunded it quick when we realized its a lazy port with no thought into actual controls. Something so simple made so terrible.

These games are no Lee Trevino's Fighting Golf, but they are indeed classics, nonetheless!

Game runs and plays great with a trackball. I am using my X-Arcade, Arcade2TV-XR Tank Stick(what a mouthful right?) which interfaces well with Steam and Steam input and the Tank Sticks firmware does not interfere with Steam input. All the versions of Golden Tee play great and the included bowling game runs and plays great too. Yes, I waited for a sale, but I just got my tank stick up and running and it was worth the wait.

I got this for 50% off and was a bit skeptic if I would like them but man I see why reviews are positive. It really is just a really well done series of golf games. Dated or not, it's fun. I can't believe I like golf. The physics feel just right as well for a 2.5D game. It's honestly crazy with what they did here. I'm impressed and I'm sure this game will help with some stress relief when I need to take a break.
