About

Going Rogue is a Visual Novel style game focused on storytelling, realistic characters, a branching story with lots of choices, and of course, an excellent visual quality.
The game plot
The protagonist graduates from the police academy and, under the pressure of circumstances, is forced to agree to work undercover to infiltrate one of the gangs. You will have to make difficult decisions, which will determine the development of the plot and the lives of other characters. Kill an unarmed drug dealer to prove your reliability to the mafia? Leak information to the police at the risk of exposing yourself? Disappear from your ex-partner's life, or let her know you're okay?
And so you can relax between making tough decisions, there are three main romantic options in the game.
Zoe, your ex-partner.

You were just starting to get a connection when you had to go undercover. Of course, you couldn't tell her, and now she thinks you just disappeared. Will you meet again, and what will she think of you when she finds out you're in a gang now?
Miranda, the head of the organized crime unit and your boss.

She's beautiful, but the job comes first in her life. Will she always see you as a subordinate, or will there be more than that between you?
Grace, a woman with a brutal fate, is entangled in the web of the mafia.

Can you save her or is it too late?
What will be the answers to these questions? It's up to you.
More than 70000 words.
More than 3000 static pictures.
More than 100 animations.
✨GOING ROGUE✨
!!!MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS!!!
STORY
🔸 After graduating from the police academy, we barely managed to convince the chief of police to hire us into the department we'd dreamed of joining. Unfortunately, after a minor brawl at a party, we were facing dismissal, but captain Miranda offered us the chance to go undercover and infiltrate a gang. It wasn't so simple. Will we be able to solve this case and bring all the criminals to justice, or will we be discovered and our happy ending dashed? It all depends on you!
GAMEPLAY
🔸 A visual novel with a multitude of choices that influence the plot and relationships with four characters: our partner Zoe, captain Miranda, Grace, and the gang leader. I think this is what the 4 endings are connected to. 3 of them are good with different girls, and the 4th is bad. Besides dialogues and choices, the game features very simple interaction during fights. Simply click on the pop-up window with your mouse or press the corresponding letter on your keyboard. 🔸 REPLAYABILITY - To unlock all the scenes and endings, you'll need to replay the game several times. Luckily, it doesn't take long, so it won't be too difficult.
VISUAL
🔸 ART - The background images are fairly average, but the characters look decent. While there aren't a huge number of girls in the game, as is typical in similar games, they are all quite attractive. Especially the main heroines. 🔸 ANIMATIONS - The sex scenes feature animation. Some look well-done. Others have minor visual glitches and aren't quite smooth enough. But overall, they look really good.
ADULT CONTENT
🔸 The game doesn't have many sex scenes. Not counting the light kissing scenes, there are only 22 full-length ones. But keep in mind that you'll only see about half of them in a single playthrough. There is classic and anal sex, domination and one netorare scene (but it can be skipped or avoided entirely by choice). 🔸 GALLERY - Yes. Can be opened from the main menu.
SOUND
🔸 MUSIC - There is always music playing in the background and it changes depending on the scenes in the game, which has a nice effect on the atmosphere. 🔸 VOICE - Unfortunately, the game has no voice acting or moans and almost no additional background sounds, with a few exceptions.
STEAM FEATURES
🔸 ACHIEVEMENTS - 64 to unlock. 🔸 TRADING CARDS - 6 cards.
CONCLUSION
To sum it up, I'd say that the game, although quite short, has a good story with a plot that's quite rare. Well-written dialogues, good sex scenes with some minor flaws here and there, but nothing critical. It felt like I was reading a short spy story, but with some hot twists) The game needed more sound and a slightly longer running time. But frankly speaking, if I had to choose between a very drawn-out game and a short one without unnecessary boring dialogues, I would choose the second option without hesitation. So if you want a game for one, or at most two evenings (one was enough for me), then the game is definitely worth your attention. Recommend to play! good story
While the story is generally good, it feels a bit too rushed and could’ve benefited from an extra chapter or two. Also, about half of the girls are decent, though none really stood out to me personally. Perhaps the game's biggest issue is its sluggish performance. There’s a one-second delay every time you click through dialogue! Even so, I still enjoyed my time with it, and it's definitely worth the dough.
Going Rogue is a choice-driven visual novel that approaches crime fiction from a grounded, character-focused angle, casting you as a newly minted police officer thrust into an undercover assignment far earlier—and far more dangerously—than you ever expected. Instead of easing into the force through routine work, you’re pushed into infiltrating a local gang, adopting a criminal persona, and slipping into a world where trust is scarce and mistakes can be fatal. This setup gives the story immediate tension, not through flashy action sequences, but through the psychological weight of pretending to be someone you’re not. The duality of living as both a cop and an embedded criminal forms the narrative’s backbone, shaping nearly every conversation, relationship, and choice that follows. Because the game is entirely text-driven, its effectiveness depends heavily on its writing and the way choices influence outcomes. Going Rogue leans into moral ambiguity rather than offering clean, heroic arcs. Every decision feels like a compromise—protect your cover at the cost of your conscience, preserve your integrity but risk exposure, or attempt to walk the impossible line between both worlds. The routes you take influence how much suspicion you draw, how much respect you earn, and how deeply you become entangled in gang politics. This tension is heightened by your character’s inexperience: you are not a hardened veteran but someone learning to navigate criminal dealings while battling self-doubt, fear, and the gnawing sense that every lie digs you deeper. Relationships play a major role in shaping the direction of the narrative. Characters on both sides of the law respond to you based on your choices, creating bonds that can develop into trust, hostility, romance, or betrayal. These relationships are among the game’s strengths—they add emotional stakes to your decisions, transforming undercover operations from simple missions into personal dilemmas. You might find yourself genuinely caring about someone you’re supposed to manipulate, or questioning whether your loyalties lie with the badge or with the people you’ve grown close to. Romance is handled as part of the broader narrative rather than a tacked-on feature, giving your choices weight and creating consequences when emotional connections collide with professional obligations. The branching paths offer considerable replayability. Different decisions open routes where you may double down on being an effective infiltrator, abandon your assignment to join the gang for real, sabotage criminal operations from within, or even become a manipulative figure who uses both sides to advance your own goals. These divergent outcomes give the game a sense of breadth that encourages multiple playthroughs, not only out of curiosity but because the story rarely feels like it gives you everything in one run. Many scenes change depending on your previous actions, making the narrative feel reactive rather than rigid. That said, Going Rogue’s focus is intentionally narrow. It is not an action game, nor does it offer complex mechanics, mini-games, or cinematic presentation. The experience is driven almost entirely by dialogue and internal monologue. For players who enjoy immersive reading, character psychology, and difficult moral choices, this format works beautifully. But for those looking for visual flair, fast pacing, or interactive set pieces, the lack of graphical elements or traditional “gameplay” may be a drawback. The pace is steady and deliberate, prioritizing emotional and narrative tension over spectacle. The game’s smaller profile also means it lacks a large community presence. With few guides or walkthroughs available and limited conversation among players, much of the experience must be navigated independently. For a story built on branching outcomes, this can be both a positive—allowing you to carve your own path—and a limitation for those who enjoy comparing routes or exploring hidden endings with community support. Still, Going Rogue thrives within its chosen genre. It delivers a grounded, adult-themed narrative about identity, loyalty, and deception, portraying undercover work as psychologically grueling rather than glamorous. The writing captures the paranoia of maintaining a false identity, the unpredictability of criminal networks, and the emotional cost of forming connections in a world built on lies. For players who appreciate mature visual novels with complex choices and morally grey storytelling, it offers a compelling and often intense experience. For anyone seeking action-oriented gameplay or colorful presentation, it may feel too minimalistic. But judged on its narrative ambition alone, Going Rogue stands as a thoughtful, layered, and replayable exploration of the dangers of living between two worlds. Rating: 7/10
Going Rogue is a choice-driven visual novel that puts story first and treats “gameplay” as decisions, consequences, and replaying to see different outcomes. You play as a young police academy graduate pushed into undercover work, and the tone stays serious because one wrong move can ruin the mission—or you. The main hook is the undercover angle. The protagonist has to earn trust in a criminal environment while still trying to hold onto a sense of purpose. A lot of the tension comes from the double life: you’re constantly weighing what to say, who to believe, and how far you’re willing to go to keep your cover intact. The branching structure is where the game tries to shine. Choices don’t just change a line or two; they’re meant to redirect relationships, scenes, and outcomes. It often feels like you’re managing risk rather than picking “good” or “evil,” which fits the theme of infiltration and survival. Characters are written to keep the pressure personal. Beyond the crime plot, the story spends time on connections, trust, and attraction, and romantic routes can become major parts of your run. Those softer scenes aren’t just filler—they also act as moments where a careless decision can create new complications. The pacing typically alternates between dialogue-heavy build-up and sharper, higher-stakes moments where consequences arrive quickly. When it works, it creates that “tightening net” feeling common to undercover stories, where each success also increases the danger of being exposed later. Presentation is straightforward and readable, like many modern visual novels: the focus is on moving cleanly through scenes and letting the writing carry the experience. If you value slick UI or flashy systems, it may feel simple, but it supports long play sessions without getting in the way. Overall, Going Rogue is best for players who enjoy adult-oriented, narrative-heavy stories with meaningful choices and multiple routes. If you like tense crime drama mixed with relationship-driven branching, it offers a lot to explore; if you want action mechanics or puzzles, it’s not aiming for that kind of engagement.
It's a complete lie. The game says it has Turkish language support, but there's no language other than English!
