It was very promising, but it has been abandoned for years. It’s still full of bugs and lacks polish and optimization. Yet the developer never removed the price, so it continues to generate revenue. This practice alone is the reason for my negative review, the price was intended for people who believed the product would eventually be complete, this is not case here.

just get dwarf fortress at this point
was ok. I think I got my money's worth. I would not recommend this when there are better options for a little higher price. try rimworld or Dwarf Fortress now that its on Steam. If you have money to burn, Gnomoria was fun for me.
Pretty cool game, unfortunately the AI is atrocious. The developer also abandoned the game, which is a shame, because it's an unpolished gem that had quite some potential.
I love this game so much. I had to stop playing it because it was taking over my life.
