(Excerpt from the advertisement) Of course, the story doesn't have much to do with Halloween. Build buildings, remove obstacles, repair damaged bridges. Technically speaking, this part is as good as its predecessors. A well-made collecting game. There is an ascending difficulty tree, but it doesn't get too difficult. The cards are well made, rather minimalistic, but therefore easy to overview. The annoying thieves are particularly annoying this time, they come in droves in some levels without ceasing. This affects some levels and is really just plain annoying. The story is totally unsuitable for children. Or do you want them to learn how good it is to be a thief? (Auszug aus der Werbung) Mit Halloween hat die Geschichte natürlich nicht viel zu tun. Baue Gebäude, entferne Hindernisse, repariere beschädigte Brücken. Spieltechnisch gesehen ist dieser Teil so gut wie die Vorgänger. Ein gut gemachtes Sammelspiel. Es gibt ein aufsteigenden Schwierigkeitsbaum, es wird jedoch nicht zu schwer. Die Karten sind gut gemacht, eher Minimalistisch, dadurch jedoch gut zu Überblicken. Die nerfigen Diebe nerfen dieses Mal besonders, sie kommen in einigen Leveln in Scharen ohne Unterlass. Dies betrifft einige Level und ist wirklich einfach nur ätzend. Die Geschichte ist für Kinder völlig ungeeignet. Oder wollt ihr das sie lernen wie gut es ist ein Dieb zu sein? Jeu sympathique. L'histoire est un peu enfantine mais agréable. La musique ne colle pas assez au thème halloween mais reste aussi agréable. J'ai eu un peu plus de mal à avoir toutes les étoiles du premier coup, surtout vers la fin. Donc il peut y avoir un poil de challenge et demande d'être quand même assez réactif au vu de la limite de temps. Mais ça a l'avantage d'être un jeu s'adressant à un public assez large. Mais si vous recherchez avant tout la difficulté, vous resterez quand même sur votre faim. Par contre, le prix est abusé, surtout que même si les niveaux sont agencés différemment par rapport aux autres opus, ça n'apporte pas réellement de nouveautés valant le prix. Donc à prendre lors d'une grosse réduction.

this is a top down puzzle time management game, the first few levels are very basic to get you in the swing of things, then it intruduces more paths and obsticles and end requirements, complete in a fast time to get three stars, but thats all there is to it, there are no skill trees or point spending, just a basic time clicker, I see no problems in graphics or bugs, nice and smooth, worth a grab at reduced price, but nothing "A" game for big money. *UPDATE* about half way in the game now and it is quite challenging, to get three stars you have to get everything in the right order fast, if you want three stars in everything, be prepared to grind levels till you work out the best and fastest way to clear, some are a little too hard for me, I was out on 2 levels so far by litterally 3-4 seconds, this is not for someone who is a little slower with the mouse, but still enjoying clearing levels. thanks for reading.

Gnomes Garden: Halloween much like Gnomes Garden: Christmas Story is just a reskin of the Gnomes Garden series, the same mechanics, nothing added just some different graphics and levels, which is fine if you are after some more time management goodness. There are two things to be aware of however... 1. Those that are saying that certain levels are impossible to earn 3 stars on, are incorrect. While Gnomes Garden: Halloween isn't as challenging to 100% as some of the later 12 Labours games, this is by far and away the hardest Gnomes Garden title currently available on Steam and it is by no means a casual game to 100%. You will have to think and you will have to plan. 2. There is no avoiding the fact that like Christmas Story, the price for Gnomes Garden: Halloween is just too steep at 3 times the price of Gnomes Garden 1, 2, 3 and New Home. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 12 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Gnomes Garden: Halloween is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab from mobile devs. It's a tablet ported clicker game/ripoff of the 12 Labours of Hercules series, only worse. The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam... they've dumped over a hundred valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? This valueless copy + paste garbage is taking up marketing space for genuine indie developers who are doing the right thing. It's harmful to the industry and to gamers. Much like 12 Labours of Hercules, there's no gameplay, just click on different things on the map until the level completes. At least with 12 Labours they managed to get the game to work in fullscreen. This game works on a cell-phone 9:16 aspect ratio, but they thought this would be okay to launch on Steam. The big joke is they want $5 for this, but it's free on mobile, which should tell you just how bad these developers are for this sheer, unacceptable insult to PC gamers. Who do they think we are?

Es war meine erste Erfahrung mit Spielen dieser Art und ich muss sagen das ich sehr viel Spaß dabei hatte. Wenn man darauf aus ist, alles "perfekt" zu haben und alle Erfolge zu ergattern dann hat man hier einiges zu tun und kommt sogar ins schwitzen. xD Am Anfang hab ich es einfach gespielt - ressourcen gesammelt und aufgebaut aber schnell hab ich gemerkt das man sogar strategisch vor gehen muss. Ich habe mir direkt alle anderen Teile auf die Wunschliste gepackt als ich mit dem Teil hier fertig war. :'D Von mir also ein Daumen hoch~ Tolles Spiel :)

Enjoyable game, but particularly bad story. Levels would be challenging for younger players and those who have trouble concentrating or planning. Pros: - Each level lets you take as long as you want/need, despite the timer. - Despite not being a proper puzzle game some levels do require levels of strategic planning, as well as a little luck. - You can continue on with the story regardless of how many stars you earned for the previous levels, as long as you finish the level before moving on to the next. - You can pause and restart levels whenever you want, and you can replay levels whenever you want. Cons: - The story in this one repeats itself, and is confusing. I feel like a section of the story was missing somewhere - probably replaced by the section which repeated itself. There were also a few spelling mistakes. - Young players will find it frustrating or impossible to try and achieve 3 stars on every level. - I was unable to wipe my progress or start again under another player's name, meaning that once you've finished it once, your scores stay in place (but you can still play all of the levels again).
