Sin duda si merece la pena, es un juegazo, al principio se puede hacer molesto morir tantas veces y dudas sobre su jugabilidad,pero no, segun juegas nuevas partidas te das cuenta que esta bien programado excepto alguna ocasion donde enemigos te golpean por debajo y cosas asi random pero es algo minimo, esta muy chulo se nota que le han puesto mucho cariño al hacerlo y se ve fresco a la vez que retro. Es un juego de memorizacion y habilidad que da para horas, compralo sin dudar por ese precio y si te gustan los juegos retro de neo geo y los ghost and ghouls..RECOMENDADISIMO.

What an enjoyable and nice-looking game! Got it on a good sale, and had a fun as hell evening playing and getting all the achievements in it. I enjoyed the world and humor that it offered as well. Solid recommend overall!

Great retro game. Can be hard as nails at time and transitions off the neogeo to the PC just fine.

The inspiration here is obvious, but how does it measure up? Pretty well, actually. Though not quite as tight or difficult as a GnG or Volgarr, it still looks, sounds, and plays great. There are occasional small bugs and a few sequences could have used a bit more tuning, but it's still damn fun. I'm not sure why this hasn't gotten more attention on Steam. Maybe it's the weird name. If you're confused by the options menu that just appears as a terminal overlay: the + indicates the current selection. Use the arrow keys to select and enter to confirm.

Good Ghost & Goblins style game. Some of the RNG can be a bit frustrating, but not to the point, that it would hinder the experience.

Overall fun game, though i wouldn't say it is anything great. Cursed Castilla is definitely much better than this. Art and music are pretty good. But i gotta say there are some lack of animations. Like in stage 3 there are goblins spawning from windows and there is literally no animation shown that they are coming out of them, they just instantly spawn. Worst of all they can spawn offscreen too, this especially become a problem if you are on a higher platform and out of nowhere one goblin that's below offscreen jumps and hits you. Or like how the red mage enemies respawn. This time there is animation but the animation happens exact same time the enemy spawns so you can't know where they will respawn unless you memorized it. The way bosses spawn fireballs are weird too. They just pop out after the boss does his attacking animation which doesn't look clean to me. Not a big deal but wanted to point out. Another problem is at the secret passage at stage 3. Where some ghosts spawn below you. You can barely see what's below and it is pretty easy to get hit by them because of this(i know you can see below by ducking which is something i used a lot but it is not that good to use it here since ghosts can be already right below you while ducking). Can't say i am a fan of the delay between your shots. Normally that wouldn't be an issue because you would say that's how the game is designed around. But especially in hard mode there will be a lot of enemies spawning and they are faster. So even if you see the enemies and have no other choice to kill them, this delay messes you up. Even in Ghouls'n Ghosts you could shoot quite frequently until you hit the max projectile limit.Other than this i think weapons overall are good. There are places each weapon has their uses. Except for the shuriken. You can shoot it frequently but it barely deals any damage so really not worth using it. Some bosses like stage 4 and stage 5 bosses aren't anything interesting honestly. They have a very simple pattern. Which is especially lame for bosses this late in the game. Still, game does provide the strategic gameplay Ghouls'n Ghosts provided. Gotta know your abilites well and use them to your advantage in unique situations. Therefore i enjoyed my time with this game aside from some issues i mentioned. Also to unlock the training mode clear achievement, when you beat the mode you have to wait until game itself sends you to menu on it's own. Otherwise you don't unlock the achievement.
