About
In Gladiator Command, you take control of a struggling Ludus in ancient Rome and transform it into a school worthy of legend. Recruit promising fighters, shape their development, manage the business behind the bloodshed, and watch your decisions play out in brutal real-time arena combat.

A successful Ludus is built far from the cheering crowds. Manage your training grounds, hire staff, balance finances, oversee recovery, and decide how hard to push your fighters.
Every decision has consequences. Aggressive training can produce faster results, but exhausted or injured gladiators will not survive long in the arena.

Search for new talent and build a roster around your own strategy. Every gladiator arrives with different attributes, traits and potential but what they become is up to you.
Develop their skills, choose their specialisation, and turn inexperienced recruits into distinctive fighters. Build heavily protected defenders, agile duelists, relentless attackers, or specialists capable of controlling the arena.
Your gladiators are investments, warriors and individuals. Know when to develop them, when to sell them and when a valuable fighter is worth risking.

Once the arena gates open, preparation becomes performance.
Watch your gladiators fight in real time using the attributes, skills and specialisations you developed. Nets trap opponents, shields absorb punishment, weapons find openings, and a single decisive strike can end even the most promising career.
There are no meaningless victories. Every fight carries consequences for the gladiator and the Ludus that sent them into the sand.

Take on increasingly dangerous opponents, enter multi-round tournaments, earn prestige, and unlock greater opportunities for your school.
Victories bring money and recognition, but lasting success demands more than one champion. Build a roster capable of surviving injuries, changing circumstances and the relentless demands of Rome’s arenas.
Grow from an overlooked training school into a celebrated Ludus whose name and blood-soaked legacy will be remembered throughout the empire.
Recruit them. Shape them. Send them into the arena.

This game is fantastic, and I've genuinely enjoyed every aspect of it. The combat, management, progression, and overall gladiator fantasy are all very well executed. That said, I think the game currently lacks replay value and simply needs more content. I completed my first playthrough in around 12 hours, defeated every boss, and reached the end of the campaign. By the time everything finally clicked, the game was already over. I would love to see more arenas, more bosses, more leagues, additional mechanics, and a much longer progression curve. Right now, the arena progression goes from Local → Regional → Grand Arena, which feels a little too short. Something like this would create a much greater sense of prestige: 🏟️ Arena Progression I. Local Games – Small local exhibitions in villages II. Town League – Established town games III. City League – Major city competitions IV. Provincial League – Best fighters in a province V. Governor's Circuit – Sponsored by provincial governors VI. Imperial Frontier Championship – Famous arenas on the empire's borders VII. Grand Provincial Championship – Champions from every province VIII. Imperial League – Official empire-wide competition IX. Champions League – Only legendary gladiators remain X. Grand Arena Championship – The pinnacle of gladiatorial fame Another area that could greatly improve the game's long-term progression is the equipment system. Currently, each equipment category has around nine items (helmets, armor, greaves, weapons, spears, and shields). While this provides some variety, progression feels fairly short. I'd love to see each category expanded to around 30 items, giving players a much longer and more rewarding equipment journey. I also think the weapon category should be split into dedicated weapon classes instead of grouping everything together. At the moment, axes, hammers, short swords like the Gladius, and long swords like the Spatha all occupy the same progression path, even though they play very differently. For example: Short Swords (Gladius): Short reach, fast attack speed, lower damage. Long Swords (Spatha): Longer reach, slower attacks, higher damage. Axes: Heavy strikes with high armor penetration but slower swings. War Hammers: Very slow, but excellent at staggering enemies and breaking armor. Spears: Superior reach and thrusting attacks but weaker in close quarters. Each weapon class could then have its own progression of roughly 30 unlockable weapons, allowing players to specialize in a preferred fighting style instead of simply upgrading through a single weapon list. The same philosophy could also be applied to helmets, armor, greaves, shields, and other equipment. A much larger equipment roster would make every victory feel more rewarding, provide stronger long-term goals, and significantly increase replayability by encouraging different builds and playstyles. My biggest criticism is that the game ends just as it really starts to shine. By the time you've mastered the mechanics, hired a scout capable of finding recruits with excellent potential, and spent hours training and equipping your gladiators, you've already reached the highest prestige tier and defeated the final boss. It feels like the game ends just as your stable of gladiators is becoming truly interesting. I wanted several more leagues, stronger opponents, larger arenas, and more equipment to continue working toward. Players should have the opportunity to enjoy the powerful gladiators they've invested so much time developing before the campaign comes to an end. Despite this criticism, I think the foundation is excellent. With more endgame content and a deeper progression system, this could easily become one of the best gladiator management games available.

addicting simple but fun not to mention cheap
Dúfam že tam ešte veľa vecí pridajú a trochu to vylepšia, momentálne je to na úrovni mobilnej apky. Hľadal som niečo ako Domina a toto sa k tej hre ani len nepriblíži.
A thoroughly enjoyable Gladiator management sim/auto-battler. It isn't going to win any awards for graphics or writing, but it's still loads of fun for what it is.
Gladiator Command is simple but satisfying. As the lanista of your very own ludus, you purchase fighters and rise up the ranks to ever more challenging (and rewarding) arena fights. I found it a little easy--only losing a single fight on my way up to the top rank in my first game--but it was enjoyable balancing the expense book and navigating the best path forward. I look forward to seeing how it continues to develop, though there is plenty enough content now for a full playthrough to the end game.
For me, a no Brainer. Cheap and fun to play. Companys like UBISOFT or EA give you awesome grafics, but tons of mirkotransactions and less and less gameplay, they only care about your Money, not about their Gamers. I played the whole gaming history, from Pong! to Ark Raiders. I knew that the purpose of Games is to have fun with them. And here you find it. Buy a Gladiotor, some staff for your Gladiator shool, equip you Gladiator with Weapons and Armor. send him in the Arena. Take a good view at the opponent and decide which Gladiator could beet him. Decide how your Gladiaor should perform his fight, Aggressive, Defensive for example? And let them fight. After that, its like watching a Wrestling match or any other contact sport. The thrill when your fighter returns with only 1-3 Healtpoints. The joy if they bring a new piece of Armor or a Weapon out of the Arena, which are sometimes to expensive for you to buy. Your Fighters will get some new Fighting Skills at the time. You raise their stats as you wish. And it is not only 1v1 every time. League Fights, where you can bet some Gold on every fight. Fights like 2vs2, 3vs3, 4vs4 ... your 4 Gladiators against 3 other Gladiator Shools , may the best Shool win. Events happen to. And there will come more, because Marius Spikas do meaningfull Updates on a regular basis. And the best is, he keeps an eye on his Players wishes. Now get the Demo and see if you get hooked, so no risk at all. And even if it is not your cup of coffee, think about supporting a Developer who does something for us, the Players and buy it anyway. ;-)
This game is AWESOME! Get ready to cry when your favourite gladiator dies, and laugh when you finally had enough and decide to execute that one useless gladiator that never seems to win a single fight. Obviously this is in early access and there are still some things to iron out, but I'm loving this one way more than I expected.
I don't know what to say except that this is the best 4 dollars I have ever spent. I love the game. I just wish I could keep straight which of my gladiators are good at what.
If this weren't 4 bucks on sale I'd say avoid it. Great time waster til the 3rd or so stage of Prestige and then the Dev's algorithm stops working and you cannot win a match no matter how good your stats are.
