I feel like this is a great way to re-learn git, but definitely is not a great way to start to learn git. It assumes you already know how to use and navigate Git, which isn't teaching.

a nice introduction to git

In it's current form, Git Gud seems to be a list of challenges, and an environment to try them in. Not bad but kind of sparse. I give it 3/5. I like the idea but it would be a lot better if the Devs made some attempt to explain the the concepts or at least offered built-in help. Currently, using the help command opens the documentation in the browser which breaks immersion. If they don't want to put a wall of text in the console or implement something like the Unix 'man' command, it would still be nice to have a little example of the command in use with basic parameters. For example if you ran 'git branch -h' and it returned 'usage: git branch <branch_name>' or something.

Good for Git beginners

unlike the pics and the trailer there is no dark mode . background is too white and the text is unreadable , you could fix this in no time but you did not because you dont care enough about the experience
