About
Ghoul Dungeon is a level-based adventure.
As you make your way, you will encounter monsters you must fight off. You'll only be able to hit them up close, so make use of the ability to dash in order to avoid getting hit. In addition, you will be able to use power slashes to deal additional damage. Make sure you're aware of your cooldowns!
You'll also encounter capsules to to heal you or provide attack boosts. Make use of these to power through!
Note: Ghoul Dungeon was a personal project I made in high school, when I was still learning game dev, and I'm no longer working on the game. Still, I hope you guys enjoy it!
Current number of levels available: 4
Additional notes:
- Ghoul Dungeon is playable with a controller, however this is implemented only for experimental purposes (suggested method to play is with keyboard and mouse)
- Currently, enemies can only attack at a close range however in a future update a ranged variant will be added

Seviye tabanlı bir macera olan Ghoul Dungeon'a hoş geldiniz. İlerledikçe savaşmanız gereken canavarlarla karşılaşacaksınız. Onlara yalnızca yakından vurabilirsiniz, bu yüzden çevik kaldığınızdan emin olun.
Good base, will be an enjoyable and quick run when there's 10 levels.
Before I played Ghoul Dungeon, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good

Warning: Asset Flip! Ghoul Dungeon is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
This 2D retro pixel platformer is made up of a bunch of stolen assets (I've seen the warrior maiden character asset in quite a few "indie" games now, it's pretty obvious what's going on) and tilesets, dumped lazily on a platformer game template, with absolutely no value as a real game. It's a barebones set of platformer levels made up of plagiarised assets... it's difficult to even describe this as sincere. The only thing missing is the exorbitant price as developers like this usually go through at least some effort to get YOUR money for someone else's game assets. In case you don't believe me the "developer" here stole this asset: https://clembod.itch.io/warrior-free-animation-set And he wants you to think it was his creation. The other tilesets and everything else are also plagiarised. Apalling. While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "Ghoul Dungeon", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. Even worse considering the developer didn't even create the assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Level 4 has a bug where a total of 5 ghouls spawn and only two are able to be killed. It may be because one ghoul dies while the other is hit or something, but it was impossible to get through that section. Also, I'd like it if you could use a keyboard key rather than left- and right-click to attack, so you could play the game with keyboard only, as the mouse doesn't aim anything.
