Watch as this nostalgic yet completely reimagined storybook world unravels before your very eyes. Taking cues from both Ghosts 'n Goblins and Ghouls 'n Ghosts and giving birth to something entirely new, Resurrection is a title worthy of its name.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
The Return of Boxer Knight!
Ok so I played this way back when in the original back on the NES. I am really happy t got a I don't know whether to call this an upgrade or remastered but it is nice to see it. I played this for awhile and to be fair the difficulty is still there. I played on squire which is normal mode and let me tell you the memories of raging out came back. The positive things I can say is that the quality is better, the controls feel more smooth and better responsive most of the time, The added power ups are a huge plus. The down sides of this game are really that the character's jump is... less then favorable. it seems slow like the original and sometimes feels to short. They redid how you get the true ending which is ok but there is no clear explanation on how to get it without looking it up. The bees... I understand they are there for the powerups but they make it hell to get them without falling to your death 90% of the time. Over all I am happy with the game and to see a old knight back fighting in his boxers again XD

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The controls are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. Pure trash. The only good thing is the graphics. Original was better.
I played on the second lowest difficult (squire) and it was still a very difficult game that will make you mad with many extremely difficult to dodge enemy attacks, tricky platforming sections, and bosses that can really take and give a beating. I'm not one to curse often but I did many times during this game - it's not everyday I find myself verbally questioning a plant's sexuality or a bat's parental heritage but here we are. You will die many, many times to get through many of the sections (fortunately, the checkpoints are fairly frequent and you have unlimited lives). But the upside of tough is that it makes the game exciting when you have to give it all you got just to survive and that's how the game is all the way through. The graphics are serviceable and the sound and music are solid but not compelling enough for me to purchase the soundtrack. I haven't played the 2-player co-op but it's a welcome addition that could add to replayability. On the topic of replayability, like the original you have to beat the game twice to get the real ending and they do mix things up on the second playthrough. What could have been improved though are the requirements to get to the true final boss and true final ending. The game doesn't explain that you need to destroy the enemy within the hidden black chest on each level to open a "hell hole" with an additional mini challenge to clear. It's tedious to locate both the chests and the hell holes (you'd best find an online guide - IGN has one that is mostly decent though sometimes I used supplementary resources) and there is an element of bad design in that sometimes the hell holes cannot be accessed unless you restart to the beginning of the level after clearing the black chest. All this lack of explanation caused me to have an unavoidable third play through, and then another unavoidable fourth time play through because I didn't know you could switch between the "shadow" levels (unlocked after the first play through) and the standard levels by using the L/R buttons. Only about 1% of players get the true ending (I did) but it took me 24 hours instead of the expected 10 to 15 due the poor explanations of how to unlock it that caused me to have those 3rd and 4th playthroughs. If you just want to go through one playthrough, it took me about 5 hours. On a final note, as an alternative to Ghosts 'n Goblins Resurrection, you might consider buying the Toki remake which is also available on Steam. It's also a tough remake of an 80s "run 'n gun" arcade game that last about 5 hours. Toki has better graphics and music, Ghosts 'n Goblins has more thrilling gameplay though if you find GnG too frustrating, Toki's gameplay might be more up your alley.

its about as punishing as the original. easy mode lets you respawn constantly meaning you'll be dying all the time and respawning. Not a fun game, brutally hard. Edit: I still enjoy it though :D
