Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 26 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

GhostControl is an old school turn based strategy game with a basic two action points per turn mechanic. It is good fun to explore your strategy and also the kind of equipment you can get. It starts off a bit slow but I kind of got into it after a while and like it enough to go back playing it. I found the newspaper bits entertaining to read. It would be great if the devs could come back with a few improvements like they have announced in the community.

I've owned GhostControl Inc. for awhile, I got about seven and a half hours playing it. I tend to be a big fan of simulation games in general, but a paranormal sim that tries to add a bit of a Ghost Busters flair to it? I mean, it should have been a dream come true. I'll be the first to admit that I do enjoy this game, it reminds me a bit of Xcom if it were also married to a business sim. But there are problems with the game that often stop me from playing longer peroids of time. The biggest thing is the lack of help or context, there's a lot you can do in this game, but the game doesn't hold your hand when it comes to controls and context. I can appreciate the fact the developers don't want to bog players down with tutorials, but at the same time, I've actually had to look up guides online to better understand some of the games mechanics. Further, this game suffers from a massive amount of grinding in order to be able to progress the story. There's been times I've felt like I've made zero progress in the game, simply because of how tedious the game can become. There's also a really weird difficulty spike that comes out of no where that can leave players reeling. I think that if the developers returned to this game and made some efforts to better balance the game, this could really be a hidden gem.
Das Spiel wird sehr schnell repetitiv. Bei den meisten Spielen hat man im lategame keinen Bock mehr, hier schon im midgame. Im sale bei min 50% oder bei einer hohen Leidensfähigkeit würde ich es empfehlen.
Did I enjoy this game? Yes. It was equal parts nostalgia and well implemented turn-based strategy with interesting mechanics like sanity and overwatch and a lot of different ghost types and equipment. Unfortunately there is only one city map to play in the game, despite the game informing you that you can select others once you complete that map. From what I've gathered that new content has been long promised but devs have obviously put this game aside. Buy it when it's on sale like I did and you'll get your money's worth and hopefully won't be as disappointed as I was on finishing the game.
Wow. I'm shocked at all of the negative reviews. This game doesn't deserve so low of a rating. I've played a *lot* of TBT games, and this one ranks higher than most. There's lots of variability, originality, content, challenge, strategy, replay-ability, and humor to keep you interested for quite a while. If you want a strategy game in the long, LONG wait between masterpieces, this will tide you over.
A hidden gem of a game in the spirit of Xcom but puts you in the role of a ghost hunting crew straight out of the Ghost Busters film franchise. The only sad thing is there has not been an update in years but its still very playable. You can take contracts to rid locations of ghosts. Like the movies you have all sorts of gadgets to drain ghosts power and then trap them. You can sell ectoplasim and buy gear or use it to research upgrades for your gear. You roam the city in a car and have to get gas and travel to hospitals for healing. Other Ghost crews can steal your jobs if they intercept the location before you do. Its a fun game with some simple 80s style music. Its just a shame that its been abandoned but it can be played and finished.
DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review
GhostControl Inc. is a game developed by bumblebee and published by Application Systems Heidelberg The game offers some pleasant graphics and really vibrant colours, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same The game does suffer with some repetitiveness at certain areas of the game but a fun game nontheless The game also suffers with some weird bugs and glitches which the developer seemed to have overlooked but they don't hinder the game at all and the UI in this game is simply the most annoying and awkward UI I've ever had the audacity of using GhostControl Inc. overall, however, is a fun game to play in short bursts!
RECOMMENDED :)
REVIEW SOURCES:

None
The game is full of charm and little references that made me smile. From finishing a level and the leader saying “Controlling makes me feel good” a reference to the Ghostbuster’s song of the 80s. To potential employee names like “Mr. B” and “Bill Venkman,” It’s a game brimming with good fun. Pardon the pun.
