This game was an absolute delight. From the mind of Shu Takumi, creator of the Ace Attorney franchise, you have a quirky and fun adventure where you play a ghost that can manipulate objects in the real world, solving a deep mystery. While I don't think it ever reaches the heights of stortelling from any of the Phoenix Wright games, it has a lot of charm, fun characters, and some truly good puzzles that are never unfair, but do make you think a little harder than average. There are some pretty great characters in here, though I don't think any of them ever get quite as good as Phoenix Wright characters (save for like one or two). But the ones here I grew to love as the game went on. I do wish some characters had more time to shine, but it is what it is. Atmosphere and feel of the game was pretty much what I wanted. The level of humor was great without being overbearing. I do also have to praise the level design and puzzles for being very creative, without ever feeling like they are impossible but at the same time not too easy. A hard thing to do sometimes but I think they pulled it off. Oh and I have to talk about the music. Every single track is a banger. I could find myself listening to this OST over and over again. Sometimes I would even just stop for a bit to listen to the tracks playing. If I am ever able to purchase a physical copy on vinyl I probably will. There are a few shortcomings that hold this game back, like I said about characters not having quite as much charm as Ace Attorney, and sometimes just wanting some time to get to know them more. There are only a few times where it gets difficult to know where you are in later puzzles and when you have to just sit there and wait for events to happen at a certain point. But overall this game is a worthy follow up game from Shu Takumi, and I am eager to play more of his games.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 30: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This was a wonderful story, filled with charismatic characters, an exciting murder mistery that keeps you guessing until the very end (with some stuff that I was able to figure out beforehand), and a beautiful art style and amazing soundtrack. Gameplay-wise, the puzzles are engaging enough, nothing super complex that will have you using 100% of your brain power to understand, but also not one of those "find the very especific, weird thing the devs decided was logical to do", but it was fun enough to keep the gameplay fresh while you follow the story beats and unreavel the mistery. All and all an excelent experience, would highly recommend for fans of light gameplay mistery focused games!
so actually everybody should play this game. quirky mystery puzzle game with fun mechanics, silly characters, beyond ridiculous story, banging soundtrack, lovely 3d models, and stylish sprites i mean theres a lot to love here
Great game. Fun puzzle gameplay with unique mechanics. Very touching and interesting story. Go hug your pets and your family.
As a big fan of the Ace Attorney series (I got into it last year and have played through 6/11 games at this point), when I heard about Ghost Trick, I was intrigued. It's made by Ace Attorney creator Shu Takumi. The hook of "solve your own murder" is already really cool, but I was hoping the gameplay would hold up as much to the hook. I saw the presentation and wow, the game looks awesome. I took the risk of getting this game without really knowing anything about the gameplay. I'm glad I did! Ghost Trick is an incredible puzzle mystery game. The plot is wonderfully designed to have a ton of mysteries, while wrapping them up in a way that never feels forced. The game holds a tone that is surprisingly upbeat while still taking itself seriously, which made this game have this awesome charm to it. It never felt too serious or too goofy. It's cast of characters is fun and memorable. The gameplay involves manipulating environments as a ghost to save people from death. Each puzzle felt unique and well designed! I don't want to say too much about this game, as this game is best enjoyed blind. But if you like mysteries and/or visual novels, you owe it to yourself to play this game. I can't say I had any point in the game where the gameplay was frustrating or bad. It's incredibly polished. 9/10.
Ghost Trick is genuinely a perfect example to point to for a hidden gem that surprised me and might just be one of my favorite experiences now. Truly, it's great and amazing all-around and I extremely-so think you should try it. This game is more of a visual-novel than a engaging game, but it still has its own unique and interesting style of gameplay courtesy of the game's name. You play as Sissel, someone who's become a specially powered ghost able to perform his own tricks upon the world through manipulating objects. You're able to interact with and move objects in a way that creates a path which allows you to travel between them. The main objective in the gameplay is altering a victim's death in order to prevent it from haven occured via your other ghost trick ability to travel back in time before they perished. The game gets a lot of leverage with this puzzling gameplay and gets very creative and intricate in its situations later-on to where I was experimenting and retrying several times before finally figuring the solutions out. The only issue with the actual gameplay to me would be inconsistency in what objects you're able to possess; one example being how you're able to go onto a guard's nightstick but can't possess a lady's wine glass they hold. This game really shines with its story. The writing of this game was made to be full of twists and turns to keep the mystery plot suspenseful. You've got the main mystery as to the protagonist's identity, but even-more-so have multiple other story threads spread-out across the city that eventually all come together very nicely. I genuinely was surprised at parts and had fun rethinking my guessing of the story multiple times. The only thing I wish was different were the secondary antagonists getting properly defeated, but the way how the story was resolved is still satisfying and unique. ㅤㅤI also like how the visual-novel gameplay of this game isn't linear here. This game has chapters, but you're able to often just leave areas entirely and go wherever you want to explore the city. This allows you check in on people you've seen before and have more fun interactions with them. You'd want this because the writing of this game and the characterization of its cast is amazing with how humorous and or cool they are. Don't forget that this comes from some people who made the Ace Attorney series so its that type of humor with distinct and crazy characters within a serious narrative showcasing death, guns, execution, trauma, etc. I'm quite wowed by this game's style. Off the DS, it's extremely clean with its ( cell-shaded perhaps? ) flat color and lineless apart from speaking sprite style that perfectly blends the 3D models with the enviromental illustrations. It does look kinda fricked sometimes admittedly when the characters are meant to be moving around in a 3D space on the 2D backround, but it's really not such a matter. The music too is great; again don't forget that this game's ost was made by Ace Attorney people, and the same composer of that series cooked in this game with very memorable tracks as-well. I really am one to appreciate DS sounding music and basically the entire ost is in my playlists now. I'm really glad a friend forced me at GUNPOINT to play this game and now I wish to persuade others to dig-in to this game and dig-out this hidden gem!
