This is great! Made by the same devs as The Room series and you can tell in some puzzles but I love the more story driven side, all characters are very well put together, have their flaws and strengths. I love the darker sections where it feels like something could jump out at you around every corner. Overall, if you like puzzles and story, this is a great game!
Good VR puzzle game with nice use of 3D graphics and set designs.
the writing is a bit disney, but the puzzles are fun without being frustrating and there is good atmosphere, just be ready for some PG rated cliches
Another fantastic game from Fireproof! Interesting and atmospheric story line draws you into a flawless VR experience with well designed puzzles and plenty of varied mechanics. The use of light from your torch to enable certain magical elements was a superb touch. 10/10
a short spooky adventure. nothing groundbreaking and feels more like a high budget disney ride than anything else. its a fun little adventure with solid interactive puzzles that i wish we had more of from fireproof. the story was fine but i would have rather spent more time solving puzzles rather than listening to dialogue. not that the dialogue was bad, just a lot of it. over my 3 hour adventure i swear i spent one hour listening to dialogue, another hour walking around from poi to poi, and the last actually doing puzzles. if ya got 25 bucks, an afternoon and a vr headset, its worth a try.
Schöne Story, tolle Graphik und absolut unterstützend bei Lösung von Rätseln nach eigenem Bedarf. Insgesamt äußerst zu empfehlen. Tolles VR-Erlebnis.
Finally got around to finishing this game -- and so glad I did. The main draw here is the atmosphere. It's spooky but not scary, and it's eerily beautiful in spots. Great cinematic puzzler with a fun story and tons of well-used VR mechanics. I especially loved the last few hours in the apartment sequence which was one of the most thrilling VR experiences I've had in quite a while! The only real con with this game I'd say, like many other VR titles, is that more fun interactions could have added depth to the exploring and made the puzzle rooms feel more alive. That being said, once you accept that it's pretty on rails and your main focus is the story/puzzles it's a good time. Just don't expect a long playthrough -- I got through mine at a leisurely 8-10 hours or so.
Very impressed by the quality of this game. It's very polished and I enjoyed every chapter of it. The level design and puzzles are great! Definitely one of the best VR experiences I've had so far. If there's one thing I'd like them to change though, it would be to switch the sprint button from right joystick to left, because it's currently impossible to sprint while turning the camera around. Anyway, I really hope that a sequel is coming! If it's as good as this one it's gonna be amazing!
This game was a ton of fun. It had great atmosphere. It was somewhat scary, but not over the top. The story was intriguing and the ending left for a good deal to be picked up later on. I am looking forward to the next installment... if there is one. The game is a little short, but still a ton of fun and worth the money that I paid. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes puzzle games.
