Did not like it, very bumpy 1997 like terrain, annoying controls, terrible menu layout. I did like what I heard from the music.
Great!
Fun game with a challenging racing. I give this a 8/10 score the game is a must play if your into racing and it's FREE. I Recommend this Game.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
"get REKTorized" is a combat racer game where the players (nobody) battle each other by shooting weapons and racing futuristic hovercars against each other. That's on the assumption that in the future everything is a shiny collection of low poly boxes welded together that somehow fly around. It's noticeable some optimisation went into Unity and a bunch of nice post processing and other visual effects were applied... to garbage low poly models. That's lipstick on a pig right there. What do you do in the game? Nothing, there's no players. In fairness, though, while this isn't winning any awards, I've seen a lot worse on Steam. Hopefully the developer goes on to work as part of a professional development team. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. Most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's usually some kind of monetisation, from nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, to any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 130 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB shows this peaked at only 7 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
