i lost braincells playing this, the soundtrack is fire though
no controller support, garfield kart treats me better
The puzzles can be more than a little bit esoteric, but the solid gameplay and generally weird vibe makes it an easy recommend to try out, you'll figure out if it's your kind of thing in a few minutes.

I had some fun with this title. It has plenty rough edges, and those edges get sharper the further you get into the game. What I liked: - The physics have a playful bounce that keeps you engaged with the terrain. - The tracks don't shy from questionable design choices, leading to a fresh and challenging experience where some titles might play it safe. - The game is unabashed in it's presentation. (The knockout drone will hover above the last place racer and roast them for their performance.) - There is a two-way race mode. What I disliked: - Weapon balance is not a factor. Leading to some frustrating story levels. - Collisions can snag your ship on small objects and other racers. - I could not progress through the tutorial in spite of pressing every key. - Manual saving for time attack times. (I am unsure if the leaderboard functionality functions. My time does not show up on the board.) - In-game controller support doesn't seem to function. (I have yet to try Steam settings to get past this.) Overall, a decent experience, and a free one at the time of this review. Hoping for a chance multiplayer sometime to see how it fares on that end.

I'm enjoying the mechanics of the game I have some issues that i stumbled upon while trying to play the different things 1 In the tutorials there are parts that seem that have too much information, and it'd be best shown with a more visual way? then there was some things like the tp to the sides part of it that there was either not enough space and no way to get thru? altho i might b jst gettin it kinda wrong? but there is no other explanation to move to the sides so i am confused when u would practically use it? Then i tried going into races There kept being errors? and the whole UI is kind of hard to understand? so many times i jst found myself being confused on how to change vehicle or go thru the menus of the game? Also i dont understand the movement that well? and I dont seem to be able to get the ahng of cetain things eg some of the levels that have very high hills and im not sure if there is a way for the spaceship to like get perpendicular to the ground n not bounce around or some way to not loose speed momentum, cuz i always seem to crash? Also i really dont understand how to do the loops? like the ones that r like sonic? I'm not sure if thats cuz i dont hv enough control yet or if its jsut hard to control there? but its in one of the first levels so im not sure The level design is good but some things look exactly the same and I cant orient myself? maybe different lighting or camera angle would help? or having indications?
This game is free so all you pay for is with your time. And I don't think it's worth it. Most content is locked behind story progression and the menus seem pretty buggy with xml snippets showing up in the dialogs. I couldn't get the controller to work so I don't think the advertised full controller support is accurate. Otherwise feels too floaty and chaotic to be fun. But if you've got the time...go for it.
