What if it's Dungeon Defenders or Orcs Must Die but Touhou? Well you get this game.
Albeit the game heavily lenient towards balance rather than allowing you to do whatever you want, there is definitely inspired aspect from OMD.
For example, Aya - she's the equivalent of Wind Belt from the game where you can push enemies off the platform, which are encouraged if given.
The funny thing is that in OMD 'Ice Amulet' is mandatory to stall the orcs (meta on nightmare difficulty) and Cirno - who can freeze absolutely everything, her title truly live up to its name for this game.
The game is... decent at best like others said, I wouldn't say fun but rather limiting. There's way too many one-time traps that I never find any use for them since the character's ability often time are enough.
The upgrade system... felt unrewarding and limiting, the points to allocate them are expensive so it always felt like it's never enough. There's a character upgrade but... the points are shared between trap upgrades and character upgrades - which leads to the second point, limiting.
Also another problem, the game does have flying enemies - the type of enemies that can go over your barricade or off the map, unfortunately there is no warning or callouts if such enemy exist, which often time forces you to reload the whole wave, it is pretty frustrating.
This game is definitely a solid 6/10 for me.
