A fun tower defence game to play with friends. Very difficult to start, but the more you play, the more you start to implement new strategies to protect your portal and commit genocide on not-so-innocent critters. Excited to see what else will be brought into the game. Also liking the cute Voxel graphics, it gives a whimsical feel to my creature-murder-sprees.
Pros- This is a bare bones game at this point. Having said that, it already has a very high replay value. I have high hopes to see where this game will be in it's finished state. Great concept. We need more base building with custom path creation tower defense games like this. Cons- Controls needs a lot of work, seems clunky and frustrating sometimes. The worst part about it so far is that there is no pause button. Just to stop or speed up game play would be the best addition to the game so far.
This game has a lot of potential. I really hope this dev team can keep it together. Can't wait to see how this thing shapes up.
A tower defense game that includes a resource system a la Age of Empires, a tech tree, and garrisoning- all standard RTS features that for some reason I don't see in other tower defense games despite tower defense games starting as RTS custom maps. Refreshing to see any innovation in the genre really.
I found myself a nice little gem :)
This game really does pull out all the stops when it comes to RTS and Tower Defence. The new features and QoL enhancements is excellent! Its does the industry really great to know there are devs still willing to think outside the box and challenge the unknown.
I Have really been enjoying this little fun game! Reminds me a lot of my Warcraft 3 tower defence days!
Really effective blend of RTS development and resource management with classic tower defense gameplay. Maps are very open and offer plenty of room to build, which makes trying to route enemies lots of fun. Challenging and rewarding.
Gem Rifts is pretty fun. Really pleasant visuals with a clear, easy to read UI/battlefield. There's a lot going on, but none of it is hard to manage. I find improving the city and building defenses very satisfying and it pays off quickly. Multiplayer is pretty fun, as there are enough aspects to the gameplay for everyone to be engaged. Fairly relaxing, and engaging experience, unless timers make you anxious.
Super Fun!!!!
