Gebub's Adventure

It's criminal this game has just 13 reviews, so I'm going to do my part to fix that. Gebub's Adventure is a delightful light platformer that lasts about 60-90 minutes. You play as Gebub, an orb-egg thing, who needs to explore the world and collect orbs and make friends with various animals. The whole game is hand drawn, there are a bunch of different areas, the platforming is quite light and friendly, and there are no enemies. This is the perfect palate cleanser after a long or tough game. The art is adorable, the music is lovely, the environments are fun, there are lots of different little things to discover (I loved the roach catapult, I loved the mole family portrait, I loved the little guy who rescues you when you fall off a ledge in purple zone). Just a dense, fun, little thing! Highly recommended, and at $2.99 on sale ($4.99 regular), you could even buy a couple copies for friends!

Much more charming than you'd think, and with an excellent classical music soundtrack. Easily worth playing. :)

This is really one amazing game :) Its not very long but its worth the money, everything is perfect in it :) I highly recommend it :) especially if you are a big fan of Seiklus ;)

An easy platformer with no fail state. Cute and fun.

Gebub's Adventure is a very chill game, a pleasant exploration platformer along the lines of Knytt but much more relaxed. No fail states, no deaths, just the occasional fall or missed secret passage you might have to go back for. It's generally pretty clear what you'll need to do with the collectibles, or if not, becomes clear pretty quickly. Like Knytt, the world has life happening in the background, lots of minor details you might not notice at first. Solid music, the art is nice to look at, it's just all around a nice experience. There are even a few particularly well-done pieces that took me by surprise, in a good way (most notably the stargazing island).

Ein tolles Spiel. Es ist eines von denen, die man spielt, wenn man komplett in eine andere, friedliche Welt abtauchen will. Die Grafik und Musik des Spiels tragen hierbei zur Atmosphäre bei. Das "Gameplay", wenn man es so nehmen will, besteht im Grunde daraus, die recht große Spielwelt zu erkunden. Hier und da gibt es stellen, an denen ein Item benötigt wirt, um weiterzukommen. Diese Items sind in der Welt verstreut und sobald man es gefunden hat, setzt man es an der Stelle ein, um weiterzukommen und dann wiederrum ein neues Areal nach Items abzusuchen. Zum Beispiel findet man Medizin, die man einem kranken Fisch gibt, der dann ein paar Algen wegfrisst, die uns den weg versperrt haben. Feinde gibt es keine und sterben kann man auch nicht, weshalb man nicht unter Druck steht. Eine kurze Pro/Con-Liste: Pro: - großartige Musik - hübscher Zeichenstil der Grafiken - super Atmosphäre - entspannendes Gameplay - viel zu Entdecken, sehr viele abwechslungsreiche Areale - wow-Momente - leichte Archievements Con: - viel zu kurz: zwei Stunden, wenn ihr geübte Spieler seid - kein Widescreen-Support; nur 4:3 unterstützt - Fünf Euro ist ein happiger Preis für 2 Stunden Spielspaß [b]Fazit[/b]: Das Spiel ist gut, keine Frage, wenn ihr euch für derartige Spiele interessiert. Alleine der Preis ist zu hoch. Für fünf Euro solltet ihr euch der kurzen Spielzeit im Klaren sein, wenn das Spiel im Angebot ist, kann ich es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
