Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 14 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game but good lord this is not properly optimized. stutters like crazy whenever you get to a new checkpoint, and overall just feels like the AI is significantly dumbed down in comparison to the original. Get it while its on sale for sure, maybe they'll fix the errors in the coming months but yeah it just feels a bit janky on this port.
the story mode was so cool and i bet the best game in the WORLD!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

im slow but not retarded
This game literally makes me sick. Screen shake is insane
I've been through the game almost twice now, so take my empirical data of two playthroughs as the absolute truth, but I had only one instance of a need to reload, and that was the cutscene overlay getting stuck on top of the UI when getting Cole. Never happent again. Fair enough, you can be critical of the brightness. It does take away from the mood and atmosphere, but beyond that, the game is gorgeous. Some of JANK will be there, it is still a remaster injected with new tech and visuals, not a complete remake. The only thing I found annoying—and I'm fairly sure this was in the original as well, AI comrades in SP just keep running away and dying. It isn't really an issue except for the boss fights, but it is also a tad bit immersion-breaking. Something could've been done to at least not have them go off on their own so much. If you haven't played Gears, it's a no-brainer. Pick it up, its a great game, and it runs great if you have a decent system. Hopefully Gears of War 2 and 3 get the same treatment.
Every Josh and Zane born before 9/11 loved this game.
really great game but dogshyt servers. was carrying and got booted fking weak.
First of all, I like the gears of war series even though I only watched let's plays of the game on youtube and this is the first time actually playing a Gears game. The series has memorable characters, iconic weapons, and dark atmosphere, but unfornately Reloaded (which is a PC port of Ultimate edition) does not do the original 2006 version justice. The campaign on single player is alright, but the co-op campaign is riddled with technical issues including crashing, loading screens not working, connection issues etc. And due to Reloaded being a PC port of Ultimate edition, the original dark and gritty art style has been replaced with pseudo realistic lighting and 'sanitized' graphics, which undermines the immersive world building and environmental storytelling of the original game. The Coalition and Microsoft should instead release the original trilogy as a bundle, while porting it properly to other systems (PC,Playstation), fix technical issues while upscaling the graphics but not touching on the art direction.
