Gaze of Dread was a fun way to spend a couple hours. There are some unsettling spooky scenes with jump scares sprinkled along the way. This has been a marked jump in this studio's quality. There is good audio, good visuals, and I encountered no bugs. I would buy it again

Engaging story and cool scares

I can only play this game 30 minutes a day without ******** myself. The moving doll at the house sealed the deal for me tonight. Sorry Mary you are on your own with that project.

cool story and visuals. i play mostly itch games but the quality of everything like a SETTINGS MENU that WORKS is super duper cool. i was able to play this on my cheap pc controller and the lockpicking scared me its the only thing with vibration so that was weird. really happy to be able to sit back and play this. runs well on my 2060 on high settings. no upscaling needed i was at 60-90fps. the transitions between levels was a little jank but nothing horrible. anyways i would ride into battle for Bill. i would lay my life for Bill. ill go on 1000 walks for Bill. im sorry for ever doubting you.

Неплохая игра, первая половина которой лучше, чем вторая. Мне понравилось то, как сильно разработчики вложились в историю, и сделали её многогранной. В игре есть разные сцены, она не утомляет однотипным визуалом и одними и теми же локациями: всегда есть что-то новое. Из того, что не понравилось - озвучка Билла слабовата. Какие-то диалоги можно проскипывать, а какие-то (почему-то) нет. Порой персонажи говорят очень много, и диалоги можно было бы сократить минимум на треть без потери смысла. Особенно во второй половине игры, при общении с Биллом. Финальные кусочки истории для меня не сработали - видно, что вложены усилия, но драматургия довольно слабая, чтобы я действительно переживал за персонажей - это реализовать не удалось. Возможно, в следующий раз разработчики попробую обратиться к драматургу при полировке сценария. Ах да, ещё понравилось, как выглядят локации ночью, вечером и утром. Но днём как будто не хватает работы со светом - очень плоско всё. Пожалуй, игра стоит своих денег.

Big fan of gambling, biggest fan there is. Made so much money on gambling, slots had no chance. I was greedy though. They say you quit just before you win big, but i never quit. Fate had other plans for me those days. Good game
