Played on a Steamdeck @MatureContent
This is yet another party game that I initially got to play together with my wife, but then ended up having to play by myself. There are three pickable modes in this game, lasagna race, lasagna challenge and lasagna world tour. The race mode is the main mode which takes you and your party through a board game like map with dice rolling, funny card effects and a lot of small mini games to compete in. The challenge mode lets you pick one of the many mini games from the race mode to both compete and practice in. The world tour mode, is very similar, just being a playlist of random mini games, where you can choose how many games, but not which ones. My wife wasn't a big fan of this game, she said she found it too confusing, but I thought it was a pretty fun boardgame like experience. To me the UI and layout was intuitive and beginner friendly. I also liked all of the mini games that I played and I like the overall visual quality, it feels sharp and polished. I can imagine it can be quite fun to play with a group of friends. Even though my wife didn't like it, I still feel like I can recommend it, especially since it goes on sale for like 6 bucks quite often. ————————————————————————————— Help me out by following my Curator, I’d really appreciate it!!
I hated every single second of this game, yet, I can't help but feel like a new person. Like I've been rejuvenated somehow. Like Jim Davis himself has descended from the heavens to grant me with this game. They can never make me hate you, Garfield.
uninstall your other games. breakup with your girlfriend. quit your job. garfield is love. garfield is life.
Garfield is so handsome
Garfield Lasagna Party is not a video game. It is an event. Somewhere beyond mortal comprehension, forces beyond our understanding convened and agreed: yes, this should exist. Every mini-game, every button prompt, every soulless stare from Garfield himself feels deliberately ordained. This is not a design by humans—this is design by fate. You don’t play Garfield Lasagna Party; you are guided through it. The mechanics are immaculate in the way a microwave lasagna is immaculate. Simple. Unquestioned. Perfect in its refusal to evolve. The mini-games arrive one after another like divine revelations you didn’t ask for but desperately needed. Each one teaches you something profound, usually about timing, patience, and accepting that this is your life now. And the characters. Oh, the characters. Garfield radiates an energy that can only be described as cosmic apathy. Jon is there. Arlene is simply magnifique. Together, they form a cast so powerful it almost feels irresponsible to put them in a party game. You are not worthy—but the game lets you play anyway. Visually, it is stunning. The UI is bold. The colours are loud. Nothing is subtle, and nothing should be. Subtlety is for lesser games. This is Lasagna Party. By the time you finish a round, you are changed. Forever. Suddenly aware that perfection does not need complexity. It needs confidence. It needs lasagna. It needs Garfield looking directly into your soul with his big beautiful lazy eyes. A flawless triumph. Game of the century. Monday never stood a chance.
THIS. THIS right here is the single greatest game ever made by humans EVER
