Garfield Kart

👍 Recommended Garfield Kart is, without question, the greatest video game ever created. Forget fancy graphics, deep stories, or realistic physics. None of those games have Garfield driving a kart at unreasonable speeds while throwing pies at his enemies. I bought this game as a joke. Then the joke became my life. Every race is a masterpiece. Every victory feels earned. Every defeat is simply an opportunity to experience Garfield Kart for a little longer. The soundtrack echoes through my dreams. The drifting mechanics have permanently altered my brain chemistry. More importantly, this game helped me through one of the hardest periods of my life. When things were rough, Garfield Kart gave me something fun to look forward to and helped keep my mind occupied. For that, I'll always appreciate it. I genuinely believe everyone should play Garfield Kart at least once in their lifetime. Future historians will study it. Philosophers will debate it. Civilizations will rise and fall, but Garfield Kart will remain. 10/10. Peak gaming. Humanity's greatest achievement.

TL;DR: Just get the g0ddamn remake instead. Here's the list of problems: - The game uses Unity Configuration launcher to map your controllers. Problem is, it's All over the damn place! So f@#k that sh!t. - Controller also doesn't work on menu, required Mouse to navigate. - AI is unbalanced. You likely getting thrown off ever time you started a race. Anyone saying otherwise, are just a complete psychopaths. Also, Steam Input doesn't help at all! You still Accelerate with LT and Reverse with RT regardless! VERDICT: It's not worth your money, unless you got it from free. So if you willing to spend money on the game, get the Furious Racing remake instead.

I would like to personally address something that I feel not enough people have talked about. Liz is by far and away the most toxic, spiteful, and evil being that this world has ever known. Not only does it feel like she has an illegal supply of lasagna at all times, she will also seek to personally make sure that you never ever win a grand prix, either by targeting you with a motherload of heat seeking pies and diamonds from her AC-130 that she drives, or by using her illegal government funded hacks to completely ignore all hazards in front of her. For a children’s kart racing game, it’s a pretty bad game. It has some nice customization options and interesting tracks, but aside from that, it belongs to a genre that’s meant to be played with friends, and this game can only be played solo. But maybe that’s for the best. The controls are terrible, and the game has performance issues. But the dumbest thing is that if you unlock tracks using the in-game coins and then close the game, once you reopen it you have to unlock everything all over again by collecting all the coins again, coins that you had already spent before.
