Garden Trills

I had a lot of fun with this game. I liked the platforming mechanics, piecing together which flower you need to make a jump was a great time. I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a casual 3d platformer with a little challenge. 8/10

A thoroughly enjoyable game. It's definitely cozy if that is what you're into, but I think what really started to shine for me as I approached the post-game is how much movement tech differs from your average skill-and-accuracy platforming game like Mario solely because you have a lot of leeway in what plants you place around the areas and where your major transit routes are. And I don't know if it's entirely fair to say that's by accident, but I appreciate that the game let me figure it out on my own and didn't force me to play by it's rules in some bonkers race miniquest. Your play at your pace, and I really dig it.

Cute little gardening puzzle platformer game where you are playing as a small bird questing to try to make her new home and neighborhood cozy and friendly with the help of new pals. This one has been sitting in my library for a while and I finally chose to pick it up. I'm enjoying it immensely, it's fun as a solo cozy game. That said, I think full price is a bit expensive for the amount of gameplay we get and there isn't anything crazy happening quest-wise to keep you involved for too long. Definitely recommend picking it up when it's on sale, which is what I probably did back in the day as I am an accidental cozy game hoarder as I work through 100%ing new games pretty regularly.

Enchanting and a joy to play.

The game is the cutest thing ever! Playing it fills me with so much joy and whimsy. The puzzles are fun and they aren't too hard or too easy. Plus you can dress up your bird. 10/10 game

This game is a dream come true for bird lovers and garden enthusiasts. Gorgeously designed levels with light puzzle aspects give you just enough freedom to beautify the surrounding scenery and craft your own solutions using flowers with unique properties. There's hats to customize your blorbo - and most important of all - a dedicated chirp button! I am thrilled to have discovered this gem of a game, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a cute, relaxing experience. Even moreso if you're a fan of birbs.

This game is an absolute joy. Playing on the Steam Deck, the controls are great and the puzzles aren't challenging but they feel just right for a little bird like the one you're playing as. It's a lot of fun to try to find everything, and there's so much you get given to dress up your bird with from doing quests and bringing gifts of fruit to all the local birdhouses. I'm writing this at the point of having done the first big quest (turn on the water for the orange hoses) and just having done a bit more in the main garden to help out mom, with most of the marbles and enough flowers to get 100% flower score in the grove areas. I'm looking forward to finding the rest of the marbles later, but I'm excited to help out more birds and clean up more brambles for now. Couldn't recommend more if it looks like it might be up your alley.

Finished the game and it was a lovely journey. I really liked the visuals and animations a lot, the character customization that gradually unlocked the more quests were finished was awesome! The personalities of all the cute little birds and the different flower mechanics were nice. Planting flowers and seeing everything bloom feels satisfying. The puzzles were real easy, so it was a relaxing adventure. The exact same music loop for all these hours was quite boring though. The planting process took too long too for my liking. As this was the main game loop, it became tedious after a while. Overall a cute and relaxing experience with no replay value. 100 % all achievements adds around 1-2 hours of extra grind to your playtime, depending on how well you finished the areas during the playthrough.

I love cozy games for unwinding, and gardening is a particular passion of mine. However, I was not prepared for the sheer cuteness of this game! The mechanics are playful and fun, there's puzzles that aren't so difficult it ruins the experience, and plenty of things to do. 100% looking forward to playing more of it!
