should be 5 bucks. great game
Superb 2D arcade action platformer with some of the finest 90's pixel art, old school anime character designs and a classy jazzy soundtrack. Not very long but it's really cool so if this is your kinda thing and it probably is because young kids don't give a crap about this style of game you'll be playing through it multiple times. No complaints.
Altrimenti, lasciate perdere.
Super hectic action platformer. Some of the finest 2D Saturn-era visuals. The pixel art is next-level throughout, a visual treat for anyone who can appreciate classic 2D graphics. And most importantly it's really fun!
I'm glad this version of the game exists for game preservation sakes. It's one of my favorite arcade games and is a good sequel to the original 1983 game. It also includes the original game which is great. I've emulated it on Finalburn Neo before and its still good here. It has all of the bells and whistles you would want like save stating, rewinding, rebindable controls, etc.
Says it doesn't support keyboards.... but it does. They've done a perfectly fine port of an old game & is exactly what you expect to get when you purchase an old game. Worth it if you like classics.
I actually missed out on the original arcade version because "Elevator action" sounded boring. Oh was I wrong, and doubly so about this newer version. Great classic arcade action game with interesting platforming as well. Highly recommended.
I used to play the NES version of Elevator Action all the time when I was a kid, and I had no idea there was a 2nd one out there until browsing around online the other day. They took the concept of the original and bumped it up by 100 notches. You can now duck when riding an elevator, you can aim at an upward angle, you have a health bar, the levels are sprawling with many twists and turns, there are multiple guns that you can find, you get subweapons, and there are even exploding barrels everywhere (don't worry, they don't hurt you). My expectations were quite low going into this and they were blown out of the water after only a few seconds of playing. There are 3 characters you can choose, some are faster and others stronger, etc. You get 3 continues before a game over, so there is an actual challenge to getting through, but they added a rewind and save states as accessibility feature (which I personally will not be using). The graphics and music were also quite nice and were the icing on the cake. Oh, and they included the original game (arcade version) in here as well. If you are a fan of the first one, you really need to check this sequel out.
