Fixing up old garages and turning them into something fresh is way more fun than I thought. Chill little sim with great potential

So, I played this game as my first "Steam Roulette" game. In that sense it was fine, it was a free game I would have never touched otherwise and at first it was nice to have a look at it, be open to a game that isn't competitive or tries to be genius, but rather just be a simple game. Unfortunately the game is pretty much over after the tutorial since it gets very repetitive. Every action just feels the same and you have to do them over and over again for every single piece of wall or dirt or whatever. To see it as glass half full at least it feels good to have finished the task (for example paint walls which is a nightmare because the controls are clunky and bug out sometimes - but when its finished at least its over and achieved). All in all, after about 15-20 minutes I found myself looking at my 1hour timer to see how much longer I have to endure this (for steam roulette). I did not sit out the time though and continued, unfortunately in one of the levels I couldn't finish because it didn't recognize all the dirt being cleaned up - i went over every tile of floor several times. Also the game has still a few bugs like if you buy furniture and pick it up, it might get stuck if you turn too fast and just disappears, which is super annoying because the "buy" menu isn't very user-friendly. I appreciate the game in general - and especially for my steam roulette experience - but I did feel a bit like I wasted at least half an hour of my time playing it for a full 60minutes.

Love the idea for this simulator but the demo didn't convince me to buy the full game. - the tutorial is very annoying. it doesn't actually track what you are doing, it just spams you with information and interrupts what you are currently doing. there is too much information too quickly (like telling me about auctions when i am still in the process of restauration). - i cleaned up my garage before going on the first joy, when i came back all the trash was there again - tool are janky and don't always work. i often had to click around before my dude would agree to paint the next strip of wall - the bin functions weirdly. sometimes you have to literally fight boxes for them to go in, then you go grab the shelf you ordered and it almost finds its own way into the trash bin. - when on a job, placing furniture is a pain. the furniture seems to get stuck once it's placed somewhere the game deems "correct", meaning you cannot move it anymore. this also means that you have to find the spot the game wants things to be placed at. Again, i do like the idea of the game but there are other, better simulators out there that do something similar.
Hallo Ihr Hobby Heimwerker, räumt endlich eurer Zimmer auf! …
