It was working perfectly for the first few story levels and I was just getting the hand of it. Pretty fun and unique actually curing the different alien species and different unique problems. But I cannot work chapter 6: many me. First it wouldnt even load and it kept crashing. Then when i finally got it to load I couldnt see the cursor anywhere on the screen and none of the controls were working. I physically could do nothing except watch the screen slowly moving around the field. Such a dissapointment because I did want to play this game.
This game is very good. It took me a level or 2 to get into it because the pacing of the game (more about that later). The graphics, sounds, design, atmosphere, humor, length,... it all ranges from good to very good. I'm nearing the end of mission 9 as I'm writing this and there are 11 in the game I think. Plus there are about 5 or 6 sandbox levels. Those sandbox levels all have a unique layout but no real story or special missions in them. Map 9 is the first one I'm struggling with. The previous 8 I "5 starred" in one go, never having to restart. (There's also a hard difficulty mode for each map that I haven't touched though.) So far I've run into one game breaking bug: map 8 wouldn't end. Because this is one of those games that autosaves all the time over a single profile save this meant I couldn't reload prior to whatever went wrong and had to play the entire level over again. Aside from that a recurring minor bug is patients or doctors getting stuck in position. This can be remedied by returning to main menu and then reloading your game. This bug didn't occur in some missions and happened up to three times in some other missions. There are different races all with their own desires and looks. They arrive as both patients and doctors. There's a giant alien race that stays outside your station because it doesn't fit in and you heal them by sending shuttles with probes. Those probes return to your station for diagnosis then you fill cannisters with the cure and ship them out to the alien the same way. All in all the atmosphere reminds me of Startopia a bit, but this game definitely has its own unique style. The only downside to this game for me is the odd pacing. There's a lot of micro-management going on with vermin entering your hospital that you destroy by clicking on them, checking patients health levels and dealing with them, checking doctor's energy levels and giving them energy drinks, prioritizing some tasks, dealing with a vendor that leaves after 30 seconds or so, reparing damage caused by meteorites. I find myself pausing the game all the time, to deal with these things. The advisors and npc's talk a lot in this game and I often end up pausing 5 times during their speeches to deal with micromanagement. This sadly makes it easy to loose track of what they're saying and undermines the nice writing and voice acting. You know how in other hospital sims (or similar games) you start a level by opening a hospital, then following the first customer all through their journey to healing, then the second one enters, and slowly the number of patients climbs up? This game dumps a bus of 5 or 6 patients on you immediately and by the time they reach your diagnosis office the second bus arrives. From the get go you're building duplicates of all sorts of rooms to deal with the stream of patients. That's another thing I'm pausing the game for all the time: building more rooms. I've gotten used to it, the game is balanced around this pace, but again: there's no time to listen to characters' stories, there's no time to go into treatment rooms and watch the animation of the wacky treatment. That's my main nitpick with this game. I'm really enjoying this playthrough and when it's over I'll check out what the DLC is about.
👏👏👏 Medi is a real boy. 👏👏👏
Like Theme Hospital/Two Point games but in Space!!!
.
Cute, quirky and peaceful. Love the sassy dialogue.
剧情虽然天花乱坠 又似乎有一丝合理, 人物设计也很不错!超级推荐 很适合我这种喜欢玩布局的,哈哈哈哈
Just mute the voiceovers and skip all the dialogue, its painfully cringe.
