If you like tower defence games, you can like this one too. It's not only turn-based, also you can control the garrison's turret during the waves. The card system is nice touch, too. My only criticism is that the game was a bit difficult for me, if you lose your soldiers and barricades in first waves it's really hard to going further. Because it's a early access game for now, I think it will develop with players comments and become more fun.
I had this on my wishlist for a while and just finally picked it up. It took 56 minutes to get every research on my first play, and I didn't see a single new enemy through 51 levels. I never even came close to being threatened, but I thought I may have gone over the two hours so I quit out and luckily my play time just felt like longer than it really was so I was still able to request a refund. There were like 3 enemies, no upgrades to your stuff, no difficulty or interesting mechanics or build. I just kept thinking this was like a Flash thing from 25 years ago. Even if this was free on your phone I'd say pass.
