Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.86/day in the week to Jul 31 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I know there are a lot of shop simulator games out there, but I've long been a fan of collectible toys and like a little blind boxed figure every now and again. There are so many variations for every figure you could spend an ungodly time trying to get every single one-heck, all versions of one figure (around 24 or so through the various material and rarities) is no small eat to attain. The game is definitely a work in progress; a few features are still in development but I'm looking forward to them. Now if there was a more permanent way to deal with the Yakuza that attack like twice a week, that's a feature I'm hoping for.
Game started out interesting. After playing card shop simulator this seemed to be heading in similar directions, but with enough of its own flavour to be interesting. Unfortunately after a bit of flavour it falls flat. The Gatcha part if fun and all, but honestly isn't enough to keep it going. A lot of functionalities that are in card shop aren't here, particularly stuff that speeds up end game and takes away the hum drum of it all. They tried to spice some parts up like having robots as well as staff. Honestly the process of dealing with both is clunky and the robots don't make anything faster than the staff. The robot fighting was uninspiring. You only have one cash register, can't buy a second. The promotion stuff and the yakuza/sumo wrestler stuff was an interesting twist, although there are no bonuses tied to these. So they serve as random penalties, not something to overcome. The cats in the game are literally two and you just feed them to attract them, then pat them to keep a bonus at level 5. Rather disappointing that there wasn't more to do with them and more of them. There are a few things that come across as this was made but a racist, probably american. One in particular that one gatcha set is air conditioning units labelled "European wet dream", just came across as tacky and poor humour. Lastly found out the last few achievements are damn near impossible or take forever for no good reason. They would take me soo far past my interest point, I couldn't be bothered grinding for them. Sadly I hoped much for this but feel disapointed in the end.
A wonderful little capsule shop simulator! It's not all anime weirdness too, but if you've got a low tolerance, it'll probably be enough to bother you. Buy vending machines, buy capsules, stock capsules, collect money, wash, rinse, and repeat! You can buy better machines that offer greater odds of rare pulls, and the dopamine of that gamble when you open them is so so satisfying. I think the game is an absolute blast as is, but I do have some suggestions... Firstly, bigger storage area. We can increase the shopping area of our stores, but the actual storage area remains tiny. With so many options for figurines, it would be nice if there were at least enough storage space to hold 2 boxes of each. Secondly, you gotta nerf the yakuza attacks. These guys come in, and within one or two seconds, they've stolen almost every figuring off of your displays. Dispatching them is easy, you get a bat, smack the leader, and they run off, leaving you with a jumbled mess of an inventory of dozens of figurines that'll take you at least an hour to replace back on the shelves. It always makes me want to quit playing whenever they come in and wreck the place. Other than that, I'd say lastly, make the employees stick around till the last customer leaves. The employee leaves right at 9:00 PM, and often times there are dozens of customers waiting in line that you have to manually cash out. It's annoying. It's been very reassuring to see the game getting updates, I'd say a couple of months ago my gripes list was about 5x as long, but it's been fairly regularly updating, so I'm confident the future of this game is bright.
Any game that lets me pet and feed cats is an automatic 20/10 for me. The game itself is pretty good too. :)
The camera or fov in game made me nauseous.
Developed by UGC90 and published by UGC90 together with Gamersky Games, Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara offers a refreshing take on the business simulation genre by focusing on one of Japan's most recognizable hobbies. Instead of operating a supermarket, café, or convenience store, players are tasked with managing a specialty capsule toy shop in the heart of Akihabara, a district famous for anime, gaming, and collectible merchandise. The concept immediately separates itself from similar management games by building its progression around the excitement of collecting rare capsule figures while gradually transforming a modest storefront into a thriving destination for enthusiasts. The combination of retail management, collecting mechanics, and lighthearted humor gives the game an identity that feels both relaxing and surprisingly addictive. Running the shop involves much more than simply filling capsule machines with merchandise. Players are responsible for purchasing new capsule collections, organizing displays, adjusting prices, decorating the interior, and ensuring customers always have something exciting to discover. As profits grow, the business can be expanded with additional machines, larger floor space, and decorative improvements that make the store more attractive to visitors. The management systems encourage thoughtful planning, rewarding players who balance customer satisfaction with smart financial decisions. Rather than overwhelming players with complicated mechanics, the game presents its systems in an accessible way while still providing enough depth to make each upgrade feel meaningful. One of the most enjoyable aspects is the collectible element itself. Every capsule opened has the potential to reveal a common figure or an exceptionally rare prize, creating the same anticipation found in real-world capsule toy machines. Instead of treating these collectibles as disposable items, the game allows players to build their own personal display, showcasing favorite figures inside the shop. The available collections range from adorable animals and robots to colorful pop culture-inspired designs, ensuring there is always another series worth pursuing. This personal collection becomes an additional form of progression that complements the financial side of the simulation and gives players another reason to continue expanding their business. The game also introduces an unexpected twist through its Robot Fight Club feature. After business hours, players can participate in underground robot battles held in hidden arenas, where spectators gather to watch mechanical combat and place wagers. Betting on these matches offers another avenue for earning money while breaking up the routine of daily shop management. Although this feature contrasts sharply with the calm atmosphere of running a capsule store, it injects welcome variety into the gameplay and keeps the experience from becoming repetitive. The unusual blend of cozy business management and energetic robot competitions gives the game a personality that few other simulators attempt. Visually, Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara embraces a bright and colorful anime-inspired presentation that perfectly suits its setting. The capsule machines, collectible figures, store decorations, and lively customer animations all contribute to a cheerful atmosphere that reflects the energy of Akihabara's famous shopping streets. The customization options allow players to personalize the appearance of their store, while employee hiring and automation systems provide satisfying long-term goals as the business grows. Since the game is currently in Early Access, additional features, seasonal content, decorations, and gameplay improvements are planned for future updates, giving players confidence that the experience will continue to expand over time. Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator – Akihabara succeeds by combining familiar business simulation mechanics with a unique theme that feels authentic and entertaining. The rewarding management loop, satisfying collectible system, charming presentation, and creative side activities make it stand out in a genre filled with more conventional retail simulators. While the Early Access version still has room to grow, the current foundation already delivers an engaging experience that should appeal to fans of management games, collectors, and anyone interested in Japanese pop culture. If future updates continue to build upon its existing strengths, this has the potential to become one of the more memorable niche simulation titles available on Steam. Rating: 8/10
Love the game so far for it being Early Access. I definitely can't wait for the scanner to be added. Not the biggest fan of how the restocking mechanic is right now but still an enjoyable game! (Furniture/Decors in the future mayhaps?)
