For 2 dollars you get a game that feels like 90's newgrounds Flash games. I got it on sale for 99 cents though, so I don't really feel bad about the purchase because I was in the mood for tower defense and figured, hey why not get this one.
The game lacks any explanation or tutorial, it took me a while to realize that the "battle" part was that I could buy enemy units to invade the other half of the screen where the girl had constructed her meager and useless defenses. There are 12 levels, and typically you can get by with placing two regular turrets to start unless the enemy starts with a couple of rock guys, then you go for a heavy turret.
There's an interesting bug (I think it's a bug) where if you place a chaingun down near where enemies spawn, it seems to shoot them right away before they get onto the screen and it felt like maybe this made the game spawn more enemies since they never "appeared" This results in a ton of cash really fast, and then you can spam gilgameshes to lock up the enemy turrets then spam ants to deplete their health as the gils supply cover.
Really easy. The art is better than what I could probably make in paint, but also doesn't feel like it WASN'T made in paint. There is a gallery mode if you want to see more of it, but I hope the artists (yes plural, check the credit) continue to improve their skill, and the developer continues to make games and focuses a little more on user experience regarding tutorial, explanations, and adding more fun factor.
That said, there are probably better games for free around, so I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this unless you're as bored as I am, it's on sale, and you like to review H games for fun as a hobby.
