About

Late at night, a girl arrives at her aunt's funeral to say her last goodbye. The funeral home is secluded, surrounded only by a dark forest and a lonely road. The door closes and she is left alone with her aunt ... or maybe not with her aunt anymore, but with a demonic creature. The demon chases the girl … or is it just trying to protect her from someone? Is this a nightmare, or is it reality?
The game has a creepy atmosphere and tension. The action develops quite quickly and engages players from the beginning. Players solve mild puzzles and search for various items. They explore different environments: a funeral home, a morgue, and a demonic world.
We've probably all attended a funeral. Each of us has felt that uncomfortable atmosphere of sadness … maybe fear. We think about the departed person and what will happen to him or her. Now, horror lovers, imagine being alone at night with the deceased. Just thinking about such circumstances should be uncomfortable ... but what if they were to resurrect? Do you feel shivers? This game will evoke such emotions instantly, but is there any light in this gloom? You'll find out when you try the game!

First things first, Thank you Sysreb for sending me a copy of the game! You can check out my full game play and overall review right here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxWm8IaVhT0&ab_channel=AlexMcLarry%27sLife Funeral overall is a nice quick horror adventure, and defiantly the kind of game I would make my friends play just to watch them be scared. Where yes the gameplay is basic and the story is simple, there is nothing wrong with that. If you are a fan of horror you will enjoy this game.
im on an indie horror game binge and this one is the best so far, i was having trouble understanding the story at first but without much words, when you finish the game it all comes together. definitely recommend. plot twist was worth the entire playthrough. 10/10 (about an hour long game)
Not worth playing unfortunately. I appreciate this is an early project from a developer but it's not worth your time. Couple of jumpscares that aren't very effective. There's some aspects that show promise, like the moment in a bathroom which I won't spoil. I'd like to see more of that type of horror. But ultimately it's not very scary. And there was some wasted effort put into the wrong things. Like a flashlight battery replacement mechanism even though you have loads of batteries and you'll only need to change the battery twice. Not that it's very good flashlight. Nor do you even need it often as most places are well enough lit. Avoid.
I really enjoyed playing this game! It's not too long, the puzzles are fun and simple, and the jumpscares are plenty, and then some! I was quite surprised with how the game ended, it was quite a shock! I'd definitely recommend it to someone who enjoys horror!
This game checks all the boxes for me, a simple straight up walking simulator. a few good scares. I'd like to see more from this dev, cheers to them.

Beat it in under an hour. Is it good? Lol, I suppose so. But it's really more for young kids. Most of the spooky is jump scares, and one kind of active threat at the end. But I have to say, it was worth the money for the laughs. Go ahead and buy this game on the cheap. Help fund the developer so they can improve and make better games in the future. Then maybe you can see the return of the ghost lady with invisible roller skates, goofy spider crawl, floppy rubber arm, and earthquake growl.
I love the game. The atmosphere was unsettling I kept feeling like something would happen at almost any moment especially when the ambiance suddenly dies for a moment. I'm glad I had a chance to play this game thanks you Devs for giving me the chance to try out the game. I had really no issue with the game except not being able to select a windowed mode, but other than that it ran smoothly for me, and I enjoyed the game.
I was gonna explore and take my time, honest! It only took me about 40 minutes because the atmosphere quickly triggered my fight or flight mode and made me sprint through the whole game. Most of the jumpscares were good enough to make me fling my mouse or accidentally hit the crouch button. Since I'm giving it a good review, you can rest assured that the jumpscares weren't overly loud and annoying either. They're just good, high quality jumpscares. That's about all this game amounts to: unfortunately there's not very much story. It's just a good indie game to freak yourself out with. It would probably be really good on stream or with friends watching.
...und danach: Game over. Für mich. Für immer.
