A charming RTS (with a touch of tower defence) roguelite. Basically the gameplay consists of - land on a planet, explore as quickly as possible to find resources to extract. Periodically a wave of enemies comes to attack your ship. Once you've extracted what you can/want, you head back to the ship to blast off, buy upgrades and select a new planet. Likes: The art syle and UI are nice, very clean. Music is good, but can see it getting a little repetitive. Dislikes: The steam store page gives more of gameplay guide than the game does. Takes a little while to work out what you're supposed to be doing. Would like to see the upgrade tree expanded, to give more variety on each playthrough. Would also like to be able to change the keyboard shortcuts.
This is a tough one. This game seems to be an Early Access game even though it's not. But it's definitely not complete. It just lacks the depth I was expecting. There's only 5 upgrade levels, across like 6 paths. By the 4th-5th planet I had almost half the upgrades already. I could see the difficulty was also going to spike. The planets are basically all the same with a few monster generators that spawn every minute or so. But this isn't a tower defense game. Unlike in Gauntlet, you can't destroy these monster generators, and if you're not careful, they'll spawn when you're right next to them. I really wanted to like this game as I loved Eufloria, Deep Rock Galactic. I was hoping this game would really be a rougue lite rts, but alas it's not even that. There's definitely a gem in there somewhere, but it needs some work. If I had received this on sale, I probably wouldn't have minded as much, but at full price, the content is severely lacking. I originally wanted to refund it, but just didn't have the heart to go through with it.. I did have some enjoyment for 2 hours, and I really hope the developer uses the money I spent on improving this game.
A really charming little.... rogueliteish rts sorta dealie. You come to care for your little beepboops, you really do.
I like the artstyle a lot, but the gameplay was a real letdown for me. The main thing for me was that there don't seem to be many interesting decisions to make. You wander a collect resources and then try to protect you base, but its not like you have many different units or towers. It felt really limited and it got boring for me really quickly.
Steam store page really says it all, and you don't need any in game guide, the game being as simple as it gets. Basically you manage a few crew members while they collect resources before leaving the planet, in order to improve your equipment to land on more challenging planets. No fortress building here, resources are scarce. A nice time waster, more for a smartphone than a PC, got on itch.io for 5€ because I like the art style and the slow pace.
I liked a lot about this game, the level design is really nice and clean. The game play and key bindings are intuitive and the music is really wonderful, though I wish the soundtrack was a bit bigger. I wish there were more achievement/upgrades to fuel my dopamine needs. The lack of cell padding on the menu buttons is a mild annoyance for me as well, but overall really cool roguelikeconcept, planet designs, graphics, and the characters are endearing - music is kick ass.
Not a single word or hint about what the goal is or how to play!
Nice little game. Graphics look lovely and it's easy to get started. The main issue with this game is that it feels incomplete. There just isn't much to do other than gathering a couple of resources. There are 3 biomes: desert, ice and jungle. The only difference between the three are the graphics. Gameplay and resources to be gathered are identical between all three. Only two types of resources are to be gathered and all you can do with them is building turrets, gatherers and upgrades. This gets old very fast. The game looks like a nice prototype which could have been the starting point of a great game. Unless substantial updates come to the game, skip this one.
Boring
Apesar do jogo de ser basico, o jogo tem muitas poucas opçoes como construções e isso vai-se trenando muito chato e fartando facilmente do jogo ao longo do tempo.
