Frog Hop

My friend bought me this game just because it has frogs in it and is cheap, but what we found was a hidden gem. This is a very enjoyable platformer, with a lot of charm. The game feels similar to Kirby, with easy enough levels that hide collectables. The big sell of this game is the momentum mechanics in this game. In the very first level you're introduced to swings that let you build up a lot of speed that is fun in a visceral way to try and keep. I have some issues with level design. It can be difficult to know whether you're on the critical path or in a secret collectable room. Often you need to progress a few screens to find out. Luckily in most levels back tracking is possible but in the others it really stings. All in all a great game for the price it's at, and an enjoyable 4 hour romp.

Imprecise controls and repetitive annoying enemies at their finest for a game that should be based on precision. You want an interesting frog game? Play the Froggo games by Smellyfrog, they are all on Steam

Despite it's simple art style, this game has some nice mechanics and items. It's a good filler.
