Frog Corner

I really liked this game. Considering it is a first game relesed. I would say It is worth the price. Fun little horror experience

Frog Corner has changed my life for the better. When I saw the corner something clicked in my body and now I am one with the corner. Play this game while you still can.

I bought this game on a whim and ended up loving it! It's a silly little game with fun puzzles, nothing really complicated, but you get that fun little "ahah" moment when you figure them out, which is nice. There are a few parts where the game gets a little spooky, and it seems to have some lore scattered about that might make for a fun Game Theory video. I'm hoping Logeiv will add steam achievements at some point too. I think this would be a really fun game to go achievement hunting in. My only criticism is that I was hoping for more frog, otherwise, great game!!!

Frog Corner is an odd and charming dive into indie horror that surprised me, but it has plenty of rough edges that could use some polish. I don't know if the typos were intentional, or not, but the controls suffer from indie jank, with having to press tab to exit from combination locks and Q to drop items. The one time I got stuck is because I missed a lore door but was able to beat the next area just by running past the monster whose gimmick I hadn't learned, only to get repeatedly caught by it in the next area. These kinds of moments would have been less frustrating if there were save points, but instead I was forced to finish the game in a two-hour sitting (this wouldn't have been the case if I had noticed the chapter select in the main menu). The gameplay was occasionally derivative, using familiar mechanics like a monster that only moves when you look away, and a reliance on keys and combination codes that started to feel tedious. However, Frog Corner redeems itself with some creative ideas. I liked the "QR codes" that opened hints in my browser and moments where I had to quickly switch between Frog Corner and “reality” to progress. Even if I’ve seen similar concepts in other games, they're rare enough that I enjoyed seeing them. The whole game was interesting, from the abrupt dive into horror to the so bad its good text to speech voice overs. For a freshman release, Logiev did a great job, and I'd love to see what else they can do. For 2 or three dollars, I'd definitely recommend it. This game is very fun and silly. The puzzles are creative and it's scary, but not scary enough so you'd click off the game. The price isn't high and its definitely worth buying. Also the developer is very nice and funny.

Puzzles are all pretty different from most stuff you find and while the game is clunky and weird at times, it deserves a solid score for trying so many ingenious concepts with the puzzles and areas. would recommend.
