Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Thin, generic, unsatisfying, lazily crafted KB+M only platformer. Review: Store page is misleading. You cannot spawn portals and latch on to them with controller. Which is the only way to move your character about. Level design are annoying little mazes with gems all over them. Not very interesting visually or on the audio front. Story tries to be cutesy but feels so thin that it might as well be a placeholder. The screen is too zoomed in and you do not see the exit portal leading you to having to explore the badly crafted levels inch by inch to find out how to progress. Feels like looking through a straw really. The portal jump mechanic is just a way for the dev to avoid having to design interesting platforms for his platformer. Instead there are gems EVERYWHERE and you leapfrog out of portal click on the screen and latch on the next one. It feels unsatisfying. The inflation from having so many gems make it feel pointless to gather them and tedious. It is sometimes necessary to skirt the screen edges with portal where nothing exists to access a lower part of the screen which has the exit, sometimes it is not however, and you risk dying for no reason but you have no way of knowing that. The game started spawning exit portals right next to entrance portal of levels, but placing them in the background with no indication on how to go to the background so at that point I stopped playing.
