It was good, but I was a little confused about what to do after awhile, after wandering around for an hour or two I'm quite sure I found all the places to go which did not have any story or context and were limited, the enemies were all standing in the same formations as well. This game has great potential, it would be nice if there was a little bit of context to explain what your supposed to do and where your supposed go, and a little bit of a story would help to be drawn into the game.
TLDR: Don't buy. The rest of this is addressed to the developer of the game. I posted it in the forums, but since it's unclear to me whether he'll read it there, I'm posting it here. Please take this in the spirit it was intended, from an older gamer to someone finding their way and making some mistakes. If you release a game too early, the worst thing you can do is blame the players and begin charging money simply to gate the comments section. You are upset because the reviews for this game are harming your future efforts, or so you think. You have a glass with liquid filled to the halfway point. You can consider it half empty or half full. You have taken the half empty point of view. In this case, you do not realize that creating hostility between yourself and the community will only draw out the trolls who would gladly pay a small fee to watch the world burn. You could take this as an opportunity to step back and look at your mistakes and fix them by improving yourself and your game. You have decided you are done with the effort, so you fail to realize that some of the positive reviews were positive in the spirit of giving you the benefit of the doubt. They could have blasted you for the errors in design, but many tried to be encouraging in hopes that this game would continue to get better. You have chosen instead a different path. In the future, when you release another game, people will look back and see the efforts you put into this one and it will color their decision of whether to buy another of your projects and give you the benefit of the doubt. When wondering how committed you will be to fixing issues with your project, they'll see that you became hostile with your community, put it behind a pay wall to block commentary, and declared yourself done with it. Who then will be the one responsible for the harm done to your future efforts? Will it be the idiot who wrote a stupid one line review, or will it be the dev who made his hostility clear to the community? Life has given you a few lemons, some of them perhaps more honest than you'll admit to yourself, and you are choosing to toss them in the garbage bin as they are sour. You could be making lemonade. Why don't you? For instance, here's a lemon--just in the first few minutes I found an issue that should be corrected. When you change the key bindings to something you'd like better, the game doesn't notice this and tells you to use the default. I like Q and E for leaning, but at the very first door, the game tells me E to use. This is something easy to fix, but instead of doing so, you're opting to blame the community for leaving negative reviews. I was interested, but waiting to see how this developed before playing. Jumping in to see the state of things myself, I found a simple error within seconds that left me unimpressed and wondering whether *maybe* some of the criticisms were well-founded. :cozyovercooked2: If the game is good, the good reviews will bury the troll reviews. You've also got an issue with antivirus labeling your game (probably falsely) as a trojan, specifically ateeee. A lot of casuals won't go any farther than just blocking the game or refunding and moving on. Should be addressed. Probably won't be based on your post. :iskull: You could take this project and run with it, making it a much better game in the process and pushing yourself to be a much better dev. It isn't too late to change your mind, and your reputation--both of which you can still do. Or you can put your nose to the grind, jump on to something more appealing to you, and hope that nobody sees your past mistakes.

Checked this out in stream and felt the ambience needed to be truly felt so uploaded the recording without any commentary. My honest opinion follows... TLDR - It's early access, it's rough around the edges and it's clearly missing many intended features but the atmosphere is amazing, the design is simple but beautiful and it's easy to pick up and play, at this moment in time after you have done exploring it becomes a zombie hunting game but there is potential there for great things to come. Now for the full review: This is a free to play, early access game by a solo developer with what appears to be big ambitions for the game and so far on day 1? I like what I see. There are a few jump scares, well placed and well timed, especially if your attention starts to wander, no spoilers! But nothing too drastic and nothing that gets your heart racing and puts you on the edge of your seat, at least not yet... Although it doesn't have the full horror vibe, it's a start and very impressive from someone working on it solo, the environment truly feels cold and unforgiving, the survival aspect so far is limited to just health and how good your aim is and there are clearly assets and features that are not yet completed. After you have spent your time exploring the map this just (at least currently) turns in to a zombie shooter where you get your gun and just go hunting. As a suggestion to the developer, please, please, please put in audio options if they are not already planned, the menu music was a bit loud so I had to mute the game audio to introduce the stream. Keep your direction, I like what I've seen so far and look forward to more great things to come, I'll be sure to keep checking in with each new update. Also there are a few areas of the map where the terrain is completely missing letting players under the map, this is technically an area that players shouldn't go anyway so few will likely see it but I do suggest a full fly around of the perimeter to find these places (they're ground level near the starting area) I hope to see some form of horde mechanic at some point where if you make enough noise you'll get swarmed, this would be especially amazing in the co-op mode with the building mechanics implemented after you and your friend/s have built up a stronghold and plenty of ammo. My last hope is to have some form of map, even as a collectable, perhaps a "hand drawn" map that fills in as you explore? To summarise, I love the game so far, I love the concept and atmosphere, you're heading in the right direction and while it's rough around the edges and obviously missing many features that you have planned it's an enjoyable experience and I look forward to seeing what the future brings.
this game is very interesting. Even though this game is still in early access i had a fun time playing it. I love the environment, in the Metro. (or whatever you want to call it). but i found myself wanting more. good game so far, I am going to play this game when it gets fully released. experienced a couple bugs. 1. your health can go over 100 2. a unlimited item glitch

I want to start off by saying this game has great potential but there are a lot of bugs. All the zombies have the same model and movements and you can see them standing unnaturally still until you approach, also i had trouble with the healing in this game as whenever i went into the inventory to use a med kit or drink water i couldnt use them. This game is not the best at the moment but im hopeful for its future.
I find the game amazing, you asked for input so I'll do so. I'm not good at this stuff though. Pros: - The control and movement of the character and the weaponry (it really smooth and has been well thought out); - The environment (although probably still in development is very effective at creating this sense of isolation and the texturing is amazing; - Well thought out placement of static objects per environment/room/area, there aren't any blatant copy paste issues to fill space. It really adds to a more immersive situation; - Thanks for not holding the players hand, really effective at making the player have to explore and a greater sense of accomplishment when you find the next area; - For an early built it is all there, there is a great foundation of base mechanics to build on. Con's: - There is a mesh error on on section of the snow forest where the cliff floor doesn't meet the ground plane. Not a big issue, its something few people will find (you can break the map because of it though); - Look into maybe some basic folklore or more creative story telling devices to litter throughout the different areas. Secret notes for stashes even would be an added feature; - Centre the torch light a little for when you explore tighter areas of the game (corridors and such); - Add a unique game mechanic that can differentiate your game from other games, if you have the ability too. Suggestions: - I believe you could do a lot with this but it is fundamental at its base, You clearly have some amazing level building design and concept of actual spaces, but right now the sky is the limit; - Be creative, look at immersion tools such as how your character will apply first aid supplies with animations if you have the resources to do so; - You could do with a silent hill combo at least for your weapon selection (add a rifle, and a range of melee to your current weapon selection); Overall, amazing gameplay for early access, take your time to make sure you have created a great USP that really sells your game, with immersion, sound design and some hella creativity. Stay Real, D6ixS
For a free game, this was pretty fun. Even if it only lasted 20 min. Dunno why there are so many nerds in the reviews ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the game but still saying it "HaS PotEntIal". It's a free game, just mess around with it for a little. I have no idea what the devs plan to do with it, or if it's just a fun side project for them. Either way, a free game is a free game. If it manages to develop into a proper full-fledged indie title, then it does. Not sure what potential people are seeing here though. Just a fun little game, at least for now. ♥♥♥♥ around lmao, it wasn't bad
Okay okay ! I will write a short review for the game becase other reviews are driving me crazy. Seems this game was free to play before and got backlash by trolls. I can see this happening with PUBG and CSGO which are my main games. Still the game for 2$ is pretty pretty decent ! I dont know about you gys , bt its a chill game. I love the winter atmosphere and the gun mechanics are good. While most of you buy a pack of cigarettes that cost 5$ each day almost , i can appreciate the developers low price. Yes ... its buggy and all , but i played the game is my colleges library just to kill some time. There is no story what so ever , but i was exploring and killing zombies.Graphics are above average. Kinda dark not gonna lie bt i trned the shadow distance to 1 and fixed my issue. Overall , the game is fun and really really cheap. Stop with the Triple A judgement. Its a solo dev , give him some time!
Overall thoughts on the game: Good gameplay mechanics, and over all very good foundation here. Maybe not quite enough content for early access game, this feels more like a demo, but what is there is good and its free so I think many people are giving a pass on that. Looking forward to more content being added. Ideas for the game: Please don't add a story, narrative, quests or any explanation of where you are. This is a pure sandbox survival horror game and that's what so cool about it. You just need to make the world a lot bigger with more variation and poi's to promote exploration. Also add some more enemy variation. The gunplay is good (nice to see you have aim down sights) but the guns should have some recoil. If you're gonna stick with the cold weather, maybe add a temperature system, warm clothes and blizzards. A basic in game map would be handy too or a compass. I would remove the cheap jump scares and focus on making a creepy atmosphere. You could have creepy ambient music playing, or you could just really on very good ambient effects. Maybe add nights, with ability to sleep to the morning? Good luck.
