I am in love with this game and it’s only been an hour. Tamed at least 10 frogs. Died by thorns. Died by Nettle. Died by Starvation. Died by Zombie. Died by Goblin. 10/10 would do it again. Founds some plants you can smoke and it changed everything - Beautiful and terrifying experience Took me way too long to realize you can wash off with the waterskin to remove dirt making vision better. Will update review when I experience more!
Love RPG? Make sure to Follow my Curator Page for plenty more!
A very ambitious project, reminiscent of games like The Forest and Green Hell, but with magic. In addition, the game has an RPG component, hero attributes, skills, quests and a very intriguing plot. The world is striking in its mystery, where you go you are waiting for very unusual events. Crafting lovers will be delighted. Definitely recommend! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgBq8GUNvAc
And don't forget to Subscribe to my Youtube

Join my Steam Group
One of the best and most lovingly crafted early access titles I've seen come out. Don't get me wrong: there are still plenty of issues to iron out with performance and game play. But this game is truly excellent in the atmosphere and charm department for a game so deeply unsettling to play due to the sound design alone. Crafting is well thought out and designed, and I'd be comfortable saying this is one of my favorite crafting systems in a game. This game has a very unique, unsettling but quaint charm about it. It's STUNNING, even on the lowest graphical settings, and the music has a ritualistic quality to it that can sometimes invoke pure panic just due to its imposing and steady sound, giving you the feeling that you need to flee immediately. I really recommend checking this one out, as I find myself getting sucked into this game and its secrets. Complaints, though few and far between (and subject to change because Early Access): •The inventory bar is a bit annoying as a controller player, but to any point-and-click adventure game player, the set up is fairly standard and understandable. •The visual effects for the drugs and afflictions are a bit much for me. I won't be using any drugs without an immediate form of visual relief in this game in the future. It's far too distorting, and I am concerned that it could have some problems for people who are prone to nausea, migraines, etc because after the first time, I was really ill from the visual distortion. •The contrast could also use a bit more work, or at least allow more graphical tweaking. The game is DARK, which is fine and very much relevant to the story, but as someone with poor contrast vision and night blindness, I cannot see past sunset's beginning in this game. Torches make it nearly impossible to see beyond the brightness of the light for me, and I wonder if a hip-lamp or another piece of equipment with softer light might work better to reduce eyestrain. •Rock traps are hard to reset because you need to click them just right to get the "writer's desk" option. Not a big deal, just annoying. •navigation is hellish until you start to understand the layout of the world/buy the map. •bathing could use a bit of a tune down in my opinion. It affects your visuals as well, making everything that much darker. This accumulates quickly, and makes me very frustrated as I already struggle to see lol
This Is gonna be a great game, graphics are amazing. i noticed quests and variety of different enemies which is good for a survial / open world base building game and Im looking forward to what this game become . but as of now its gonna need more time .First off if you get this game give it a few mins when you start it up because it says error but will eventually load. the controls are different that im not sure i am a fan of, but just might take some time to get used to. the only reason i am leaving a bad review for now which i will gladly change in the future is because it crashed on me quite a few times one when i died, one when i was loading into the tavern , and another because for some reason i died when i got in the tavern right away, like i said tho game has potential and gotta be patient when loading it up and ignore the error
The things I liked: • The game is beautiful and has great atmosphere • Crafting and building is great. Its complex and requires thought and some skill. All furniture and building pieces can be picked back up and moved if placed incorrectly or you want to move your stuff • The descriptions really help bring the game to life. Pretty much everything can be clicked on and has some sort of information/lore • The game is challenging and doesn’t hold your hand, but you can save so its not terribly hard to try new things • There is a little bit of a mystery/story to go with the survival. Its not just survive and build. • The music is relaxing • There are moments where I was truly scared by something I didn’t expect. What I didn’t like: • The initial load took a bit and the screen froze for a moment, but the game loaded without any further issue. This isn’t really that bad, but figured I would let you know. The developer is active and has called this out and is working on making it smoother. The game itself runs fine for me on High and I can play it on ultra, but there are a few lag spots when I do that. • Not really a complaint, but please add multiplayer someday. It would be so cool.
Hnngh, I really wanted to like this? But the optimization is... well, it's not really there. I'm getting awful, awful stuttering. Also, I love survival games, but this one feels dark souls level hard. You can die just from stepping on sharp twigs and bleeding out, and when you do? Game over. :/
i rather like it. it is a little buggy (still in early access so go figure) but looks really good
So I couldn't figure out how to use weaponry etc. This one clearly needs a bit of work but that's why its in early access. I wouldn't purchase at full price. Gameplay here: https://youtu.be/7noR0Flb_to
I think this game is very pretty, but it needs some work on combat and interaction. Like, I need some sort of sound indication that I am even hitting something, for instance. The controls are weirdly complicated, and I am sure I could adjust, but the quality of life of it is strange. It also has crashing issues, and for a long while, the game would not even load up for me. I think it is worth the money, however, and I think after it is more developed that I will enjoy it a lot. As for right now, though, I am not enjoying it as much as I should. Wish I could leave a neutral review.
