About
Free Chess is a free physics based chess simulator where you are free to play the game of chess with the freedom of however you like. (Have we mentioned free enough?)
With the use of physics simulation, move pieces just as you would on a real chess board, with the added benefit of playing with friends across the world!
With many different settings and themes for your chess sets the game is always pretty to look at!
Take the game up a notch and invite multiple friends to duke it out without limitations.
Invent your own rules and play however you want!
[Warning: This game is PHYSICS BASED, this means you CAN knock pieces over while you play. Please check the controls in the pause menu when playing to learn how to avoid doing this (hold right click while you move the piece holding left click to lift pieces over other pieces). Also note this game can be played very silly where you can move the opponents pieces and even skip your turn and be generally silly. If this isn't your jam, please don't leave a negative review detailing how you knocked over all your pieces and hated the physics aspect of the game, this is how our game was intended to be played]

VERY FREEING
I always seem to break the AI
thank you for giving me a second chance at life
Do NOT play this while high bruh, I accidently checkmated myself
I try it and game is dead, also when i play with AI you can crash and remove pieces with hand on tab so game is deezy and weird, so i will not recommended for chess lovers to try this one.
Would recommend, good graphics and very chaotic
Being able to cheat as soon as you start losing is pretty unique but I found it fun, I can see why some chess fans would hate this, but the game is doing everything it says it wants to do. -You can knock over pieces due to physics, but can simply lift your pieces above others to avoid kocking things over. -You can play with friends (no idea on the limit of players, but it seems like there isn't one) -You can play seriously, or straight up cheat the entire game against a bot (even being able to rearrange the enemies pieces on your turn is crazy) All in all it's pretty great for a free game, worth giving it a go if you like the tabletop simulator style of gameplay. For die hard serious players, I would stick with Chess.com instead.
