parts of the screen for this game are missing, therefore key buttons cannot be clicked, and the game cannot be played. not sure how they never fixed this problem. complete waste of money. do not buy. the problem is not my screen resolution settings.

Tactics system is awful. It's overly complicated and ruins the game. The game looks pretty but that major flaw is a deal breaker for me.

I have like 400 something hours on this game and all I can say is it's my favorite hockey game on pc (might be the only one lol) as far as realism goes they have it pretty spot on the one issue I have is tactics for my first 4 play throughs I went as gm and coach. Picking the blues I would go 5 years into the sim and get my ass beat left and right I'd say 300 of those hours was me just getting stomped so on my 5th play through I did just gm to see what I was doing wrong coaching. well first year with the blues we made it to the finals next year we won. checked mike yeo's tactics and he was running the exact same tactics I was, stretching the d and puck control offense. So all that tells me is they need to update the tactics /AI I dont see how I can go from being stomped to absolutely destroying my opponents and the only thing that changed was me not picking head coach. 4/5 star

Improved on the earlier version in terms of stability and off-ice functions. Editing and customization still leave much to be desired but the inclusion of international hockey shows they're making strides in getting this game up to par with OOTP's editing and customization abilities. Could be on par with OOTP 2010 in a few versions. Right now it's a perfectly serviceable hockey sim

Excellent game, finally a good manager game for hockey. The only issue is with coaching the national teams and the coaches. AI does not use coaches and it's kinda silly that coaches do not have multiple roles (like head coach AND assistant coach, or even scout, or be promoted from a smaller role to even GM).
