It's not bad, kinda clunky in the controls, doesn't really give you much of a start for what to do and where to find stuff. I played for 4 hours, and deforested a whole area of trees before I found a coconut, because the only tree at spawn was in the safe zone and you couldn't chop it down. I'll come back after a few more updates and see what it's like, but for now, it's mostly nobody on any servers, so it's a good time if you want to learn the mechanics.
Clunky, buggy, game that is nowhere near ready.

Fractured Veil is a fun open-world survival game that challenges you to adapt and face of myriad dangers and obstacles. Developed by a passionate team of survival enthusiasts, this game offers an immersive experience that tests players' skills and resilience. If you liked games like Rust, Ark, and The Forest, then you'll enjoy Fractured Veil.
Very clunky. No music. Empty world. Impossible to loot my dead corpse. Very tiny map.
Below is my initial assessment. Most of my issues with the game revolve around the dearth of information (Right mouse button to prepare an action, LMB to take action: archery, fishing, shooting, etc.), lack of tutorial which they have meagerly addressed, and lastly lack of story or goals. The mechanics are getting better, and it might be a great game at some point. Nice concept but Not even Alpha ready. Be glad to file bugs, but the in game bug filer is broken, and trying to work in their discord is a PITA that just isn't worth it any more. Simple thing like buying multiples is broken (you get multiples, but at way more than shown or calculated), Every pipe rail stair case is bugged on every other turn. Someone sleeping at the bottom of a ladder, your stuck and have to climb back up and jump. Change your resolution, video engine AVs when restarted, have to uninstall, delete directory and do a huge download again. Don't logout, and starve to death, corpse with everything is gone. Kill 23 of 25 mobs for a quest a cross a hidden zone line, back to 0... Feels like a one man show and that person has a day job. Tried to get a refund after 6 hours (4 of those reinstalling), and was denied. Played more to give it a chance, and it was a waste of time. That's my $20 and 2 cents.
Solid zombie survival crafting game. Has a ton of potential
excellent game, enjoying playing it, expect the bugs to be shaken out and for a real solid game to be there
