Foul Play - Yuri Visual Novel

This is an amazing game with a very relatable story. I definitely cried a few times. I'm eternally a simp for Winter and would die for her. Cynthia is great too though, you really can't go wrong either way. If you're looking for a game that you won't want to put down with good content you have come to the right page.

The ups & downs of this game keep you on the edge of your seat, and trust me, that is a good thing! The writing pulls you in with amazing characters and lush environments, all with gorgeous artwork to tie it all together! Any fans of the genre will NOT want to miss out on this title! <3

The game does a great job of building the suspense of the main story, the romance feels very organic, the ethical quandaries are perplexing (as they should be), the emotional turmoil of the characters elicits empathy, the humor competently ranges from suitably sardonic to laugh out loud funny, and the art is very expressive and cute. The coming out scene between the protagonist and her mother is particularly emotionally riveting.

thank you so much to my close steam friend for gifting me this underrated gem... it's now one of my top favourite yuri visual novel games i've ever played! and that's saying a lot since i've played quite a handful of these :p so to start, i'll open the closet with a few words: ➼ when you google 'foul play meaning' there are two definitions of it which suggests a play in words so yes, there are several of these in-game which are fun to find :p ➼ when you browse the steam store, you're already greeted by two lovely ladies with one being a 'stealer' of your heart on the run while the other being the 'boss' who appraises your performances in and out of the office. you will personally learn their own lesbian experiences too while discovering yourself so hey, you get hands-on learning (yes, two [i] actual hands-on in bed [/i] scenes for each woman)! ➼ looking at the achievements, you're well aware how the developers actually put the L in LGBTQIA+ with the jokes XD ➼ the 'about this game' section is 99.99% accurate except for the 'straight-laced' part since you're more loopsy-sided than both of these two combined especially during the introduction LMAO ➼ please play with the 18+ patch because you will appreciate how consensual and sensual the scenes are from both women (: next, let's take the 'are you gay?' test: option A: CYNTHIA ➼ is a short-tempered woman who (as you can guess from these kind of games) has a soft spot for you yet still manages to make you feel scared yet filled of admiration for her 'stubbornness'. going with her route will make you stand on your own two feet in a task force where you thought was your safe space. oh and you get to u-haul with her twice so double the gayness? plus, she's your knight in shining armor in one scene... tell me which sapphic princess does not want a heroine who will risk her own life for you? this woman is a cold officer at work but an attentive lover in bed :p option B: WINTER ➼ is a psychopath. LITERALLY A TOXIC YURI DYNAMIC SO IF YOU VIBE WITH THIS THEN BY ALL MEANS GO GET THE GIRL. and she comes with the full package: flirtatious, cunning, and power-hungry so why bother fixing her? her route has two branches nearing the end but the penultimate stays the same though the 'join raeni's' offer has more fun to it. also, if you're a sapphic who likes both masculine plus feminine outfit representation... well, take her to the party and accept her date offer. this woman will roleplay your office romance and cop-robber fantasy. option C: lesbian loner ➼ who cares about two hot women pining for you? you're proud of yourself for coming out to both of them yet we are all gal pals, innit? jokes aside, it's actually surprising for the developers to implement this kind of route but hey, in reality most of us are exactly like this 💀 before you start moving in, here are some advices: ➼ you will only be able to trigger the 'daddy's girl' achievement with the '18+ adult content' DLC. make sure you turn on (well you will be in those scenes) the extras in the settings (the DLC page seems to have shown the wrong image). ➼ 'bad ending' options have a chance for you to revert back to your last choice but just to be on the safe side, do make a save beforehand. ➼ you might not be able to 100% winter's romance bar if you miss two important choices which is one, about the money and two, about the scarf. ➼ make a save during the party invitation offer so you can easily get the 'self care' achievement (in my case, i became besties with cynthia... and one hell of a discovery at the end lol). you've read everything up to this point, let's just u-haul together by getting this game and leaving a review SO WE CAN SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS AND DISPLAY THE ACHIEVEMENTS ON OUR PROFILE, PLEASE. also, i'm not one to gatekeep a hidden treasure so go forth and girlboss your fellow sapphics to get a firsthand experience of this yuri visual novel!

S*** got me horny af. I swear I played it for the plot and not for the raging blue balls.

This short yuri VN is really good. Story is interesting , even if it’s short, the pacing is good ( it does not feel rushed at all ). Love interests are both well done. Choices are also well done. Hints allow you to do the game without wrong interpretation and it has an impact on the story. And, personally I really like the art style but you can see it in the screenshots..

good writing, entertaining story, and unique characters the normal art is really cute, and the CGs are outstanding really love the option to skip triggering content / cutscenes skipping kinda breaks around certain scenes and events, but overall it plays well this one is definitely worth checking out tho
