Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.71/day in the week to Aug 26 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

THE PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT FOR THIS GAME HAS BEEN STOLEN BY MY DOMESTIC ABUSER AND VALVE IS REFUSING TO TRANSFER THE RIGHTS BACK TO ME, THE SOLE DEVELOPER. NO ONE MAKES PROFITS FROM SALES ANYMORE, VALVE KEEPS EVERYTHING. BUY AT OWN PERIL. THERE WILL BE NO MORE UPDATES.
Discover the quiet dystopia of Fortune's Run, where food is free yet people starve and every living soul on New Zabra is bought and paid for by off-world interests. A classic FPS with undertones of role-playing in the spirit of Deus Ex and EYE: Divine Cybermancy, featuring the campy tone of space operas and titles like Metal Gear Solid.
Master an innovative combat system inspired by fighting games and character action titles. Memorize combos and specials that break stance, use grabs and mix-ups to throw off your enemies' guard. The depth will keep you practicing for months.
Lose yourself in a post-industrial world of barren factories and boarded up store-fronts. Explore immersive environments, meet eclectic low-lives and witness Mozah's tragic tale in full voice-acted glory.
Learn to defend yourself with invincibility frames, parries, counters and true Quake-engine strafe-jumping movement. Damage is lethal, combat is tactical and practice is imperative. A return to the form of old classics on maximum difficulty. Blink and you're dead!
Travel to distant stars and lay eyes on set-pieces inspired by the science-fiction greats. A fully simulated centrifugal space station, a train that rides up a cable to the heavens. No two levels the same, always with something to impress.
Embrace the pain. The only way to survive is to learn, and the only way to learn is to fail. With a deeply customizable difficulty system and endless mechanics to master, Fortune's Run will leave you only two options: persistence or death!
Unfortunately, getting a refund is going to be hard.
As someone who rarely ask for refunds, I am considering going to Steam Support to request one for this "game" since the automated check declines it (due to being owned for longer than 2 weeks) This is not something you want to spend money on, and the latest News written by the Dev proves this: *Fortune's Run - Game Cancelled Due To Gaben Personally - Steam News Steam makes payments to my domestic abuser, the police arrest me for being upset about it. What ever happened to "Sorry, I messed up?" -It should be removed from the Steam Store, especially given the price tag -this game will never be complete and is a disgrace to honest and hard‑working indie devs that currently try to survive with the more and more cursed Early Access formula. If you consider buying this game, don't. Read up a bit first and find something else to enjoy

Valve is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, just allowing an abuser to run off with the money. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy.
Scammed
If the store page still has a purchase option available: DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! TL;DR: Weird, unexpected life stuff happened behind the scenes and now there's no one working on the game, meaning its effectively canceled. Don't waste your money buying it, unless it's strictly for archival purposes or something. --- The couple hours of game that were released up until now are actually not bad, but the main (now only) dev is dealing with various, severe, personal issues IRL, which effectively resulted in the games cancelation. You can basically stop reading from here, if you just wanted to know if the game is worth getting. The rest of this review is just a warning / rant about how you'll likely not receive a refund if you buy it now or bought it in the past. --- If you purchase this game and go past the refund window, your refund request will most likely be denied. I tried getting a refund as a customer who purchased the game after playing it's fantastic demo and before the dev had to do a stint in prison. Back when it just looked like a very promising early access title. My refund request was denied because I had gone past the refund window... yeah, of course I did. How was I supposed to know the dev team would dissolve, the main dev would do hard time, and the game would be canceled due to semi-related, off-platform personal struggles 3 years after its early access launch? What sort of precident does this set for Early Access as a whole? If you don't cyber-stalk the dev team and identify potential reasons they might cancel their project, then you're just SOL and it's your own fault for buying the game? If even with that context my refund was denied, imagine your chance of getting a refund if you buy the game and go past the refund window _after_ all these issues came to light. Look, I get it, life happens and things go sideways sometimes. I hope the people behind the game can figure out their problems and can all get their happy ending, because it sounds like they genuinely need it. But what I don't understand is why the customer is the one left holding the bag for this.
This game was very promising, but the deliberate hijacking has ruined what could have been iconic.
this guy turned into a transformer and mentally broke down against his ex girlfriend after he tried to kill her. i wish i could get a full refund but lesson learned.
Yikes.
A sick-ass imm-sim with a huge amount of clear effort and talent put into it. Legitimately impresses me every time I play it. As a fellow Canadian living under the wretched boots of our country's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ police system, I wish the dev nothing but the best of luck and hope for the future.
I thought it was a boomer shooter, but after 22 minutes, I still have not met a single enemy, or have not been given or fired a single weapon. Maybe if you like Half Life's style of storytelling, or story heavy games, you might like it. Also I've had some bugs where I was stuck on a wall. There's been no update to this early access title for more than a year, and apparently, there's no planned update for atleast the next few years as the developer has been arrested for, as per their own words, "a violent crime", and is now in prison for a few years. The game might get fixed then. Edit: And before someone tell me it's not far that I rate the game for not being what I expected: 1) The entire first 24 seconds of the trailer is full of combat and shooting 2) Last sentence of the steam description is: Sink or swim in this high-octane first-person shooter with immersive sim elements. 3) The third Tag is "Boomer Shooter".
