Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.57/day in the week to Aug 17 → 33.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
50/50 Recommendation
Although fairly fun and laid back, Fortune Mill is one of those games for the 'perfect game' hunters. 50 of 51 achievements are obtainable in the first play through alone, with the last by simply completing NG+. That being said, there are a few missed opportunities for further achievement.
Missed Opportunities
(For achievements) Completing NG++ Completing NG+++ Completing Lethal Mode Getting caught in lethal mode (sort of as a funny one) Whether anything like this gets worked on at a later date will have to be seen but given that the NG+ modes are already in place and the game is in a fully workable state, (I've clocked 20+ hours and not experienced one single glitch or crash) I do wonder. Having now completed the NG and NG+ I find myself at the point of why 'not recommending' The NG+, although I realise it's meant to be challenging, to 10x the requirements basically made into a right slog. The enthusiasm for the first time around was quite high, earning lots very quickly and progression was rapid and fun. On NG+ however, all I could feel was a sense of relief that I had FINALLY passed the room, especially when it came to the 'Gacha' room, given that progress is painfully slow. Overall this left me with absolutely no desire to play any of the other game modes.
The Price
Gamers nowadays seem to be somewhat focused on price compared to length of play and feeling that they got value for money. I am NOT one of these gamers but I shall offer my opinion on the matter. At £6.99 I wouldn't say that it's a bad price but with, realistically, only being worth playing through twice (if you want to 'perfect game' it) I do feel that you should wait for a sale and pick it up a bit cheaper. I only clocked up 20+ hours gameplay because I decided to spend more on upgrades in each room that I really needed. If I had done bare minimum to pass each room I could have completed both game runs in around half the time. In conclusion I still recommend this game but at a bit cheaper and (hopefully) more content added down the line.
