Forgotten Spirits

Very short game, but for $10, decent value. Would love to see this game expanded on in the future. The music is very pleasant and I enjoy the primitive art style. Would recommend a console controller over mouse and keyboard for this one.

[i] My Experience [/i] While I often see Steam users complaining about the price to length ratio of games on the platform, I usually side with the developer. As an adult working full-time I have less time than ever to play games, and I don't love it when games feel artificially padded with repetitive or dull content. However, upon finishing [b]Forgotten Spirits[/b] I remarked to my co-op partner, "Wow, that was it?" We finished the game in 30 minutes. Luckily, I had bought the game on sale for 50% off ($5), which made the short length a little more palatable. However, the game still felt a little expensive for what it is. We did enjoy what we played, though. I liked the "construction paper" art style that the game uses, and the asymmetric nature of the co-op (many tasks can only be performed by one of the two characters). Lastly, I liked the concept of switching characters from foreground to background and back again in order to solve puzzles and make progress. We found some of the secrets hidden within the levels, but I'm sure that there were more to find - we aren't typically completionists. If you think you'd enjoy a short, co-op puzzle game with an endearing art style, give [b]Forgotten Spirits[/b] a shot. However, I would absolutely wait for a sale.

Jeu sympathique mais très très court (moins d'une heure pour finir en co-op) ! Du coup, je trouve le prix un peu excessif...

Cute game, but too short. Only 1 hour of gameplay...

*Género: juego de exploración 2D para todos lo públicos. *Historia: prácticamente inexistente, salvo las pinceladas a libre interpretación que proporcionan en un puñado de jeroglíficos. *Audiovisual: el apartado gráfico es muy simple. La música ambiental acompaña sin molestar y transmite la sensación de descubrimiento. *Duración: un suspiro, en menos de 1h puedes resolver sus sencillos puzzles. *Rejugabilidad: ninguna. *Lo mejor: a) la mecánica de cambiar entre el primer y segundo plano para resolver sus puzzles. *Lo peor: a) más que un juego parece una demo; b) el elevado precio (8€) para el efímero entretenimiento que ofrece.

Cute game, a little short for the $10 at base price. Fun with a friend, we beat it in under 1 hour.

Delightful but very, very short. I hope there are more levels in the future.
